Two minute speech on any school co-curricular activity of their choice?

Many co-curricular activities involve physical activity. This gets students moving and keeps them healthy. Even if the activity doesn't involve physical activity, it still prevents students from laying on the couch, watching TV and snacking.

Co-curricular activities prepare students for the future. Universities like students who have a well-rounded education through co-curriculars. Through these activities, students learn about working in a group or a team to accomplish a goal. When students enter the workforce and have to cooperate with their co-workers, they will be able to call on the teamwork and leadership skills they learned.

Participation in co-curricular activities promotes positive experiences such as teamwork, motivation and reaching goals. When a student is involved in an extra-curricular activity, he is less likely to get involved in negative and harmful schemes such as drug or alcohol use, vandalism or gang involvement. Additionally, most schools have policies that say any students who have made poor choices such as drug or alcohol use or are failing in any classes are prohibited from participating in co-curricular events. This can motivate students who enjoy playing sports and other activities to lead a drug-free lifestyle and maintain good grades.

What happens if you don't water a plant for four days?

Most likely a bit of wilting. It mostly depends on the type of plant and its environment. Hot dry weather and soil for a plant that is not intended for that environment would cause more severe wilting than say a cactus. For four days most plants will be just fine.

What is the independent variable in physics?

Depending on the context, any variable can be independent (or dependent).

What happens if a gas flame gets too much primary air?

For a Bunsen or Fisher burner, if you open the air intake too wide, the flame will become unstable and blow out.

Why do bones of younger people break more?

In old age (oder than 65 or 70) an adults bones become more brittle and beak easier due to diseases like osteoporosis. This is compounded by the decrease in many older people of agility due to musclre and join t problems which increases slips trips and falls - thus kore chances to break brittle bones.

Younger folks up the age of ten or so have more pliable bones with more soft components near their ends, reducing the frequency of breakage under normal wear and stress. The bones have lower cross section tan adult bones and can'r withstand breaking stress as easily. They however are prone to take mor athletic chances with their games and adventures which may increase the chances of bone breaking forces. Old folks are, after all, not as often seen climbing trees.

Between these two extremes there is a population with sturdy bones, good reflexes and vision and enough smarts to avoid some of life's gravity related accidents. However this is the same group that goes int foe skateboards, ice climbing and heavy duty sports. These all put bones in danger.

In general the medical community does not agree with the position that young people break bones more frequently than older peipleIn part it depends on the meaning you put to "older" and "younger". I also depends on activities, lifestyle and diseases. The general consensus of doctors reviewing dat on broken bones is that the rate of fractures increases with age.

Which property can be used to separate a mixture of salt and pepper?

Salt is soluble in water, unlike pepper, so you can put the mixture in water and filter it using a coffee filter. The pepper will stay in the coffee filter and the salt can be separated from the water by leaving the solution in the sun.

Is Science a experiment?

No it is a subject that we study in where we learn about experiments.

Why doesn't water put out burning oil?

Because the water just pushes the oil around. The oil is lighter than water so it will stay on top and burn.

What changes in an experiment?

It depends what you mean by that. But in an experiment that is made up of several tests, one factor at a time must be changed in order to rule out each possible factor until only one remains.

Also test conditions may change if performed on a different day. Hope that helps you!!

What happens when you dd salt to warter when boling?

Adding any nonvolatile solute to water will lower the freezing point and raise the boiling point .... but not by very much.

There is a myth that adding a bit of salt (NaCl) will raise the boiling point and cause to food to cook faster. The problem is that the small amount of salt added to boiling water by the average cook will have a negligible effect on the boiling point of the water. So why is salt added to boiling water? To make whatever is cooking in the water a bit salty.

As for what happens.... Water boils when its vapor pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure. Adding salt decreases the vapor pressure of the resulting solution, which means that more energy is needed to force the solution to boil, and the boiling point is elevated.

Boiling point elevation is a colligative property and depends on the total number of particles in solution. The increase in boiling point, DT, can be calculated ...

DT = iKm ... where i is the van't Hoff factor, and indicator of how many particles come from a formula unit of solute. K is a constant. The boiling point elevation constant for water is 0.512 C/m. The symbol "m" stands for molality, a way of expressing concentration in moles of solute per kilogram of solvent.

What is polar and non polar compound?

polar compounds are those which have charged ends or you can say those compound or molecules which have +ve ends and -ve ends in their structure .

non polar are those which don't have any charged ends thee molecules are neutral in their configuration .

polar molecules have strong force of attraction than non poalr molecules between them due to which thaey have high melting point and strength
