most places sell the complete hub assembly. You have to remove the brake assembly there are four bolts holding the hub assembly in place remove and reinstall

It's Solenoid "A" in the fuse box, which is in the passenger footwell, under the dashboard.

undo one bolt on gearbox end where speedo cable enters box,end of cable gear acts asa dipstick

60 nm or 44 pounds then give it 90degree turn

It opens by pulling the handle at left in the drivers foot space.

Try the alternator pulley wheel - it has a clutch. Mine just sheared of completely (the clutch had disintergrated)

The indicators are held in by a simple clip that needs to be released from inside the bonnet by pusing in the tab. The indicator then slides out whilst pressing the clip

Replace it as a whole unit from the dealers (£20-30 I think), there's just four bolts and the release cable to undo. But if your bonnet is stuck down...(I did this yesterday evening), you will need to remove (if your car has one-not all do) the splash plate/guard underneath the engine-8 to 10 screws. Then you'll need to lie on your back looking up behind the radiator and reach up with a long handled screwdriver and flick the black platic knob/catch to the left-hey presto! On my car the bonnet catch looks ok it's just the release cable that's getting stuck and needs replacing. Hope this helps.

On the inner edges of the roof bar are some small circular caps - they can be prized off with a fine pointed screwdriver or similar. The fixings are underneath and just need tightening.

Hiya, to make it easy if your unsure of where the clutch cable is lift the bonnet and get someone to depress the clutch pedal for you, you`ll soon identify it, looking at the cable approx 5cm along the cable is a circular weight i grip this with a pair of mole/vice grips,( a mechanic might tell you different but it works for me) grip this so it can`t rotate, then with the appropriate spanner turn the nut at the end of the cable clockwise or anticlockwise depending on your clutch pedal height in the car so that your clutch pedal is level with your brake pedal give or take 3mm, and that's it, job done

Pull off electrical connectors to fuel injectors, there are 4 of them, turn the engine over on

the ignition and the will momenteraly fire, stop engine ie take out key from ignition, replace electrical connectors to fuel injectors, turn key on ignition and with a bit of luck...

you used to have to change the complete housing,maybe now there is a kit to change only the thermostat,because you can remove it,with care.

There should be 2 adjusters on top of the headlights, one on far left and one on far right of each light. These ane like plastic nuts or screws sometomes accesible through holes in the landing panel. One of these will adjust the kick up (left and right) and the other will adjust the height (up and down). Hope this skelps

A 2000 Skoda Felicia 1.3 mpi has a timing chain.

Not a timing belt. A timing chain.

So buying a used felicia and not replacing it is not actually risky,

as with a car with a timing belt.

The chain of course will also develope 'slack',

so it is a good idea to change it after so many klms, and/or if it as gotten too noisy.

The possibility of the chain breaking is very very very slim.

It WILL develope some slack though, and might jump a tooth, worsening performance and fuel economy.

Parts are cheap for the felicia.

it is attached on the top righthand side of the engine block. it has hoses which feed the water tank.

They don't have a timing belt, they have an internal timing chain instead which is supposed to last the life of the engine. However, with high mileages and/or infrequent oil changes the chain can become rattly and needs replacing. The chain and sprocket kit is less than £20 but you'll also need to replace the sump gasket, timing cover gasket and oil seal and a new oil filter and oil. Altogether about £35 from Jorily in the UK not including the oil.
