A Defedant may be allowed to plead youthful offender in Alabama if the person is under the age of 21 at the time the criminal offense was committed. An adjudication of youthful offender is not a criminal conviction and will not appear on your history as such. Youthful offender files are confidential records. You may apply for youthful offender status in any case whether it be the smallest misdemeanor like a speeding ticket of the most heinous felonies such as murder. However, it is discretionary with the judge as to whether or not you are granted youthful offender status. I do not recall those with felonies such as murder being granted youthful offender status. You may apply for youthful offender status in a felony case although you were previously adjudicated a youthful offender in a prior misdemeanor case. However, as I mentioned, it is entirely up to the judge as to whether or not he allows you a subsequent adjudication as a youthful offender. Hope this helped.

Be aware, "intent" is a very easy thing for the police to prove. Being in a residential neighborhood, even your own, at night, may well see you get arrested for this if the police stop you.

Anecdotally though, I have a very small lockpick set I've been carrying in my wallet for years, once even handing my wallet to the police, and I've never had trouble. On the other hand, I'm not very suspicious looking. I would recommend this set, its tiny and convenient. Order it from out of state, California retailers usually won't sell them without a locksmith license.

You can have a fully loaded handgun (full magazine and one in the chamber) either in the open or concealed in your car and you are not required to inform police unless asked directly if there is a firearm in the vehicle. Long guns (rifles and shotguns) are able to have a full magazine, but nothing can be in the chamber. Every state's requirements are different in many ways. Most want you to supply your work history for the first 4 quarters of the last 5 full calendar quarters and then they compare that with your earnings to determine eligibility. You need to check with your own state's employment security office for clarification, where you work.

I also believe it can be as high as life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, or in some states the death penalty depending on the situation. The short answer is that Supreme Court Justices, like all judges, hold a non-partisan office.

It depends on the state. In the state of California, after a person has completed parole and are OFF parole, they automatically get their voting rights back. They just have to register like everyone else. So needless to say, given the same circumstances, they can then be called to jury duty. There are 3 or 4 other states where the same rules apply. However, the person must have COMPLETED parole successfully.
