Without a doubt, WorldStrides is the best educational student travel company I have used. I have been taking my junior high school students on a history tour to the East coast since 1995. I have researched many tour companies, and have discovered from personal experience that nobody takes care of the itinerary, program leaders, and students like WorldStrides. They put in the hours prior to our group's departure to make sure everything will run as smoothly as possible. Obviously, things can happen on a trip. They have in place a team of specialist who man telephones 24 hours a day. In this way the program leader always has access to an individual who can help them as issues arise. The second thing WorldStrides provides to aid the program leader is what is referred to as Doctor's on call. This program provided 24 hour medical assistance when the need arose.( I have used these specialist to help me with everything from flight delays to a broken pair of glasses.) The third item that I found beneficial was that they provided an individual that stayed with us at the hotel each night to handle situations that arose during our stays well as to make breakfast arrangements and to make sure our rooms were ready when we arrived. Besides the WorldStrides hotel representative, they also supplied night chaperons to guard the hallways which allowed me to get a better night sleep so that I was better prepared for the next day's adventures.

It is without hesitation or doubt on my part that I believe WorldStrides is the best tour company for educational student travel.

- I am an American citizen living in America wanting to study in Spain, however, I have an Italian passport and I believe but I'm not entirely sure that I have Italian citizenship? through my father who is an Italian citizen, but i have never lived in Italy so do I need a visa on my American passport or is my Italian passport without a visa enough to study and stay in Spain?

i would say Berlin. it's a very modern and international city. maybe also Munich or Cologne. but if i were you i would go to Berlin.

While for the most part, tourism is something to be encouraged, in the United States, there have been times and places where tourism, per say has had negative affects. In this case the so called "Spring Break Vacations of university students flocking to cities in Florida have made negative headlines.

To solve this many such cities have increased police patrols and have actually made arrests of students for disorderly conduct. This is a misdemeanor and causes no permanent damage to a students criminal record. The fines for this type of offense however can discourage unruly behavior and disturb permanent residents.
