How much is a Webasto panoramic sunroof?

Depends on which type of vehicle you purchase. Webasto sunroofs will be marked up according to the auto-manufacturer. The HIGHEST suggested retail mark up I have seen for the OSR panoramic sunroof was $3000. Webasto does not set the price or margin of mark up. Suggested retail price is set to the auto- manufacturer. Go to your dealer and check the window sticker for the exact price you will pay.

Why does my Sun roof leak?

Open your sunroof and look for the drain holes in both front corners. Those tubes run through the door pillars and drain through to the rocker panels. You may be tempted to run a coat hanger down the tubes or blast them with compressed air. Don't! You might poke the wire right through the tubing or disconnect it from the drain hole. Then you'd have to remove the entire headliner to reconnect it-a big job. Instead, use a shop vacuum and small-diameter vinyl tubing to suck out the clog.

If that doesn't do the trick, try running a very small flexible "plumbing" snake down the tube to break up the clog. (Actually, it's a speedometer cable found at any auto parts store for about $8.)

If cleaning the tubes doesn't work, don't try to disassemble the mechanism or bend the sheet metal to get a better fit. That's a job for a top-notch body shop. If the car isn't worth the cost of the repair, we rescind our earlier warning. Go for the silicone and live without the wind in your hair.

How do you fix a leaking sunroof on a peugeot 106?

Check the drains on the front left & right of the sunroof channel. Sometimes they get blocked. Pour water down each side and see if it comes out in the front wheel arches. If not, try pulling the carpet up down the bottom front footwells and look for the tubes. Another method is to use wire or pipe cleaners to push down and try to clear the blockage.

Why does your 1997 VW Jetta sunroof open fine but blows a fuse when you go to close it?

It maybe cause by a faulty motor, Hard to close sunroof. I sugest you remove the cover where the ceilling interior light is located and in there you will find an allan key you can use to open/close manually in case of motor malfunction. You should be able to at least find if it is hard or easy to close/open. If it hard to move then it maybe the cause. Hope it help.

Does the 1993 Buick Skylark come factory installed with R-12 or R-134A and if R-12 how hard is the conversion?

1992 was the first year for 134a. To be sure on your car there should be a sticker underneath the hood on the top/front of the engine compartment stating the freon type. Another easy way, check the A/C pressure connectors is in the engine compartment. R12 connectors are screw on connectors. R134a connectores have screw on caps, but the actual hose connectors under the caps are snap on (the cap screws into the center of the connectors, not the outside). Your local autoparts store will have R134a refill kits, look at the connector on the can. Autozone employees will go outside and look under your hood and tell you. If you are changing the compressor and dryer, then refilling the compressor with R134a oil and using R134a is easy, for a trained professional, and the seals will be fine. NOTE : It is illegal for anyone to purposefully vent R12 into the atmosphere. If the compressor hasn't failed and you are needing to simply add a small amount of R12 to get the system working again you should consider searching online for Freeze12 or other R12 substitutes and top it off with an organic replacement for R12, as you can not drain the R12 system without a refrigerant recovery system, which start at $500. You can not mix R12 and R134a. A complete system failure is guaranteed if you try.
