Is terrorism a military problem?
1. During the early 1980's this exact question was brought up during some staff briefings. And the vast majority of officers and senior NCOs present had no idea what the speaker was talking about. Whispers were said to one another..."what's he talking about?" No one had heard the term before, other than the common sense definition of terrorism...COMMUNISM and the COLD WAR was what was being discussed! Not no police problem! Believe it or not; that was the end of the "terrorism topic", and the briefer went on with "the standard brief" on current affairs at the time (Reagan was President at this time).
2. In 1989 the Berlin Wall came down, the Soviets began to collapse in 1990.
3. The US military began shutting down it's bases (Base Closures) in mass in 1990.
4. The US military was just about OUT OF WORK!
5. Looking for a reason to stay employed; the US military accepted law enforcement duties, IN LIEU OF BECOMING UNEMPLOYED.
6. Since the mid 1990's the US Military now patrols the US-Mexican Border and chases drug smugglers anywhere and everywhere.
7. The US Military is now (mostly) a law enforcement force. Yes, terrorism is the new challenge & responsibility (almost routine now, since Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2001) for the 21st Century US Military.

What measures are used to control terrorism?
There are many measures in place to control terrorism.
Law
The law, obviously, makes any act of terrorism or threat of terrorism illegal.
Terrorism is an extremely serious offence and all reports are taken extremely seriously. Terror suspects can be held in custody longer by law enforcement than murder suspects.
In most countries, particularly Europe, even stockpiling material that can be used to make explosives is enough evidence of terrorism intentions.
Espionage
NATO members often perform spy measures on terror suspects and known terror training grounds. Information is gathered by means of video and sound which is used to prevent planned terror attacks on Allied and international soil. Espionage also allows us to discover how the terror faction operates and where they get their funding and materials from.
Special Operations
NATO special forces, particularly the British SAS, British Royal Commandos and American SEALs often perform "hit" missions on terror locations and terror suspects. Usually to disable a terror cell to prevent imminent attack.
They also perform missions to sabotage supplies such as weapons and destroy their means of funding (usually drug cultivating, so special forces would destroy/burn drug crops). They also perform "snatch" missions (kidnapping a high-ranking terrorist for interrogation) and rescue missions in hostage situations.
Morale Dampening
The Allies occasionally perform missions to lower the morale of terror forces. This may include sabotaging supplies, sabotaging funds, starving the terrorists by preventing food entering camps, poisoning water supplies, propaganda and assassinating key leadership figures.
International Cooperation
Improved diplomacy with international countries boosts intelligence sharing and support with preventing terrorism. Diplomacy with the governments of countries where terrorists are known to hide is crucial, for many reasons, including permission to drop bombs on the country to eliminate threats and requests for extradition of arrested terror suspects.
Education
Educating people on the negative sides of terrorism helps to reduce the number of terror recruits and encourages people to report suspected terror activity.
Terrorism is usually committed due to the terrorists having "incorrect" beliefs that their victims wronged them in some way (brainwashing). Educating removes their brainwashing.
Big Brother
In today's modern world, it is easier to keep track of people and analyse them. This is called "big brother".
With CCTV in virtually every developed city, on average everybody appears on a camera every 4 minutes (2 minutes for London, the most heavily CCTV'd city on the planet).
Mobile phones and devices such as laptops, iPads and so on provide authorities with a way to trace an individual in minutes using GPS.
Unmanned spy drones and spy satellites make it easier to analyse suspects.
"Eye In The Sky"
Technology in the air is constantly keeping watch over known terror locations and tracing high-value terror suspects. This is achieved by spy drones.
Spy drones are unmanned and carry equipment capable of collecting information about locations and people. If they are destroyed, no lives are lost since there is nobody on board, the information won't be lost because it is instantly beamed back to the controllers via satellite.
Spy satellites can be used to spy on movements and locations too.
Similarly, air force gunship planes, also known as "flying fortresses", such as the AC-130 have the ability to spy from great distances and attack them without being noticed. This is an incredibly effective method of leadership assassination as they will never see a missile fired at them from an AC-130 until it hits them.
War
After the September 11th attacks on the United States- the US, UK, UN and NATO officially declared war on global terrorism.
War is usually the last measure used to control terrorism, either when all other measures fail or when immediate control is needed to prevent immediate threat to innocent lives.
War is used as suppression and destroy method to either disrupt the terrorists or destroy them entirely. It also helps the countries to build up their forces and resistance to fight the terrorists themselves (such as in Afghanistan).

Who won the war Israel or hezbollah?
Although Hezbollah's conduct was surprising, it suffered a serious setback. Most of its long-range Iranian-supplied missiles were destroyed in the first few hours, forcing it to rely primarily on Katyusha rockets. It's also important to know that Israeli air and naval strikes and speacial operations destroyed numerous Hezbollah bases, arms and munitions dumps, and rockets. In ground fighting, Hezbollah's equipment and human losses were usually greater than those of the Israelis, but they managed to bog Israel down until the end of the war, when an offensive drove them back across the Litani. Israel withdrew only after the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) secured the area to prevent a full-scale Hezbollah return. Hezbollah used to be a state-within-a-state inside South Lebanon, but it's authority was severely weakened. It had taken significant casualties, and lost a good portion of its weaponry (though this was quickly replaced with Iranian shipments).
The only Israeli setbacks were the effectiveness of Hezbollah's anti-tank missiles, which damaged a number of tanks and completely destroyed five (two beyond repair) and knocked out an armored bulldozer. Hezbollah also managed to shoot down an Israeli helicopter for the first time, damage but not sink an Israeli warship, and keep a steady stream of rocket fire into Northern Israel, which caused casualties and damage to infrastructure and the economy. It also managed to inflict serious casualties on the Israelis through urban combat, though it's losses were much higher. Although it captured some equipment, it was not a significant amount. Although Israel failed in it's objective to destroy Hezbollah, Hezbollah failed in it's objective to damage Israel's military capabilities.
What is a sentence using the word terrorism?
Lawful owners of lawful means such as politics, religion, intelligence, military style operations etc. have irresponsibly allowed those means to end in the hands of ordinary people and we have global terrorism.
It is important for the failure of responsibility to be dealt with promptly as things can develop and get out of hand. Now we have terrorism, what will we have in the future?
Nuclear Terrorism is when a person uses nuclear power to kill or hurt people in the same or different country in which they are living in. Nuclear power can kill millions because the radiation will keep rippling all over the globe.
The effects of fallout are finite as the material is decaying, even in an immediate fallout plume one would rarely need to stay in a fallout shelter (if one was available) longer than about 3 months, after that radiation is barely above normal background levels. It doesn't automatically kill millions.
Nuclear Terrorism is primarily the threat of use of nuclear weapons, either overtly or clandestinely, to instill fear in the people of a country or part of a country. In that sense it differs little from other forms of Terrorism (e.g. suicide bombs, mail bombs, subway gas attacks).
Why did the us aid the taliban in the 1980s?
First of all, the Taliban didn't exist until 1994. Some of the Afghan rebels whom the U.S. aided in the 1980s did have a similar Islamist mentality and some would go on to be supporters of the Taliban, but it's not technically accurate to call them the Taliban.
In the 1980s, the Soviet Union was fighting a war to prop up a communist regime in Afghanistan. As per the framework of the Cold War, the U.S. aided anti-Soviet rebels in order to stop the spread of communism.

Can you combat and curb terrorism?
In a short sentence: no.
The only way to stop terrorism is improving the lives of poor people and arresting (not killing) high-profile leaders.
The alternative has provided more available manpower to terrorist organizations by people who lost relatives to the so-called military solutions to terrorism. Point in case: if you lost all your family (mom, dad, brothers, sisters and husband/wife or children of your own), surely you wold be more than eager to join any organization that promises you "the heavens" in exchange of killing three or four hundred of the enemy, right?

What happens when you break a Tenet of the dark brotherhood. Ty?
If you're talking about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, then you will get visited by the Wrath of Sithis at night, and no one will see him. Like other spirits, you have to use silver, daedric, or magic weapons to hurt him, and you can't go back into the sanctuary without being attacked until you kill him. In the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there are no tenets, so you don't have to worry about that. You have 3 chances to get back in the DB, and if you break the tenets again you're permanently kicked out.
What was the Irish republican army goals?
Which Irish Republican Army? The IRA under Michael Collins had the goal of securing the independence of Ireland from Britain, and establishing Ireland as a Republic. The Provisional IRA, Continuity IRA, Real IRA, Irish National Liberation Army, etc. had the goal of trying to force the six counties of Northern Ireland into a union with the rest of Ireland. It should be noted the majority in Northern Ireland remain opposed to union with the Republic of Ireland, and that talk of a "reunified" Ireland is utter nonsense, as Ireland was never unified to begin with.
What is the largest terrorist group in Iraq?
Currently, as of 2015, Islamic State is the most powerful terrorist group in Iraq with at least 20,000 members, but it was not always this way. Before Islamic State's surprising victories in 2014, this question would be much harder to answer with "largest" and "terrorist" being nebulous words.
If the word "largest" is meant to mean most ubiquitous, then the answer is certainly Al Qaeda since the American Invasion. Al Qaeda operates like a McDonald's, franchising cells across any country in which it exists. In addition, smaller jihadist organizations will reach out to Al Qaeda for funding and the name recognition. In return, Al Qaeda will claim that this smaller independent jihadist organization is part of its ranks, even though their objectives may be different than those of the Al Qaeda leadership.
If the word "largest" is meant to mean the largest internal membership, then the answer is a lot murkier. There are numerous violent groups that operate within the Sunni Triangle (Baghdad-Falluja-Tikrit) and numerous Shia organizations which operate throughout lower Mesopotamia. Accurate accounts of organizational membership almost never exist because the cell structure is loose. In addition, most individuals so affiliated only know the names of those fellow group members that they are very close to so as to limit the efficacy of post-capture interrogation.
If the word "terrorist" only refers to the international organizations certified terrorist organizations by the United States and/or Europe, many of the violent groups in Iraq are necessarily excised because these violent groups are regional and would better be classified as "gangs with machine-guns". Violent groups, such as the one that controls Sadr City (a district of Baghdad), are responsible for many more deaths in Iraq than the certified terrorist organizations. What is also important to note is that many of these violent groups target Iraqis who are either neutral to United States interests or opposed to United States interests as these groups are jostling for power in the new Iraqi structure. The "terrorists" are far from a monolith.
