What is the difference between murga punishment or murgi punishment?
The terms "murga punishment" and "murgi punishment" both originate from South Asian cultures and refer to physical punishments where a person is made to squat and hold their ears, resembling a rooster or hen. The key difference lies in the specific posture assumed during the punishment - "murga" involves squatting with hands holding the ears from behind the legs, while "murgi" involves squatting with hands holding the ears from the front. These punishments are often used as disciplinary measures, particularly in educational or military settings.
What are the difference between a robot and an expert system?
A robot is a physical machine capable of performing tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously, often with sensors and actuators for interacting with its environment. An expert system, on the other hand, is a software program that uses artificial intelligence techniques to mimic the decision-making abilities of a human expert in a specific domain. While a robot can physically interact with the world, an expert system is purely software-based and relies on rules and knowledge bases to make decisions.
Differences between reptiles and insects?
Reptiles are vertebrates with dry, scaly skin, while insects are invertebrates with exoskeletons and six legs. Reptiles typically have lungs for breathing, while insects have tracheal systems for respiration. Reptiles reproduce by laying eggs with leathery shells, while insects undergo metamorphosis, transitioning through larval, pupal, and adult stages.
What is the difference between denaturation and dissociation?
denaturation is when a protein's environment is changed and the a protein changes its shape or sometimes even unfolds. they become inactive. dissociation refers to a large or complex protein made up of several different subunits in which the protein breaks apart and back into its separate subunits.
What is the difference between Bennox and Hardox Materials?
Bennox and Hardox are both types of abrasion-resistant steel, commonly used in industrial applications. The main difference lies in their composition and properties. Bennox steel is a quenched and tempered steel, while Hardox is a wear-resistant steel. Bennox is known for its high impact resistance, while Hardox is renowned for its exceptional hardness and toughness. Ultimately, the choice between the two materials depends on the specific requirements of the application in terms of wear resistance, impact resistance, and overall durability.
What is the difference between chorale and cantata?
Chorale has more than one meaning; one is a large choir, but a chorale as a piece of music would mean a large choir piece, or another meaning was made famous by Johann Sebastian Bach, the Bach Chorales (written for his choir in Germany), which are often used as excellent examples of "polyphony" and "voice-leading" meaning well-written 'songs' that have multiple voices and merge and flow well together. The Cantata is a classical form used by several composers including Bach and many others and generally features a core instrumental group (in modern parlance the so-called "rhythm section" of keyboard, bass and drums) and a larger ensemble like an orchestra, and usually a small vocal group and/or a large choir. In the cantata (which is Italian for song-piece) the small group and larger ensemble have creative interplay and the end result was/is often exciting and dramatic (the texts typically feature grand religious themes). J.S. Bach (1685-1750) unsurprisingly was known as the leading exponent of both the chorale and the cantata. He also wrote a lot of (Christian/Catholic) Masses, like Mozart did.
What is between 47299 and 47997?

What is the difference between a dependent country and a independent country?
A dependent country depends on the government to do everything for them. A independent country is free and does not rely on the government for everything
What differences are there between compounds and mixtures?
Elements and compounds are pure substances. They cannot be broken down further by physical and/or chemical means. Mixtures, on the other hand, are physical combinations of pure substances . A compound is when two or more different types of elements are chemically bonded but a mixture is when there is different types of elements that is not chemically bonded but physically bonded.
What is the difference in between 1005g and 1.2kg?
The difference between 1005g and 1.2kg is that 1.2kg is equivalent to 1200g. To find the difference, you would subtract 1005g from 1200g, which equals 195g. Therefore, the difference between 1005g and 1.2kg is 195g.
What is the difference of mt760 and mt998?
Ah, happy little question! MT760 and MT998 are both types of messages used in the banking world, but they serve different purposes. MT760 is a stand-by letter of credit, ensuring payment if a contract is not fulfilled, while MT998 is a message used to confirm the receipt of a payment. Each one has its own unique role in helping transactions flow smoothly in the financial landscape. Just like in painting, understanding the different tools and techniques can help create a beautiful masterpiece in the world of banking.
What is the difference between Bba and MBA?
Good Question. I have only one answer.
So that one can study Business Administration at the undergraduate level.
MBA is not just an extension of BBA. As you said, any graduate can enroll for the Master of Business Administration programme offered by most Indian universities. But what if I wanted to study Business Administration at the undergraduate level and had no plans of studying further for an MBA degree? You have to admit, although the BBA degree may not be advanced as the MBA degree, someone who wasn't interested in say Commerce, Arts, or Computer Applications(as you pointed out in your example) would have to study a subject he/she wasn't interested in for three whole years before he/she could learn the subject of his/her choice, in this case being Business Administration, if BBA was not available. If I wanted to study Business Administration, and BBA was not available, I would have to study something that I wasn't interested in, just to get to the point where I could start learning the subject of my choice, basically wasting three years of my life on some subject I had no plans to specialising in. Would you call that fair? Not all BBA graduates go on to study MBA. Some enter the workforce right after their graduation, armed with a BBA degree and a sound knowledge of Business Administration.
What is the difference between implementation and evaluation?
Evaluation is basically testing the thing that if its working according to what we have designed for..
Implementation means to utilise the thing you designed in the realistic manner..
Differences between Ethernet Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet?
The 'Ether' part of Ethernet denotes that the system is not meant to be restricted for use on only one medium type, copper cables, fibre cables and even radio waves can be used.
Fast Ethernet Network was developed as an upgrade to traditional Ethernet Networking. Fast Ethernet improved traditional Ethernet by increasing transfer rates 10 times, from 10 Megabit to 100 Megabit speed.
Gigabit Ethernet Network is an upgrade on Fast Ethernet Network equivalent to Fast Ethernet Networks improvement over Fast Ethernet Network, offering speeds of 1000 Megabits (1 Gigabit)
Cisco have a good document with diagrams and a reasonable amount of depth that answers your questions on 10/100/1000 Ethernet. See related link.
Ethernet card would be 10Mbps (mega bauds per second) Fast Ethernet card would be 100Mbps. Most ethernet cards sold today are Fast Ethernet or better. Look for the 100Mbps or the 10/100Mbps specification. The only difference between the both is the speed.
Hence both cards are basically the same using the same technology except the fast Ethernet card can run on 10/100mb/s, an astonishing speed.
Original 10Base2, 10Base5 and 10baseT Ethernet (thin coaxial cable, thick coaxial cable and twisted pair, respectively) specifications offered a 10Mbit/second throughput (data transfer rate). Although 1 Byte is 8 bits, 10Mbits in practice doesn't mean 1.25MBytes/second, because there's some extra information transferred. On average it can be seen as a ~1MByte/second link speed.
Then new standards appeared, some of them exotic (like 100VG AnyLan), but the new Ethernet standard was 100baseTX, which used twisted pair (like 10baseT, but with slightly higher quality requirements - Category 5 cable). It has been called Fast Ethernet, as it offered 100Mbit/sec transfer speed, a 10-fold improvement. Usually all the network equipment can talk both 10baseT and 100baseTX (for example network switches have "10/100" ports).
But this was not enough - then came a next speed-up: the 1000baseTX, still running on twisted pair, but with even higher cable quality requirements, offering 1000Mbit/s transfer speed, thus called Gigabit Ethernet: 1000 Mega = 1 Giga.
Is there any different between corporate planning and strategic planning?
Yes, there are key differences between corporate planning and strategic planning, although they are closely related and often overlap. Here’s a breakdown of each:
**Scope**:
Focuses on the overall organization and its long-term goals.
Often involves multiple departments and functions within the company.
**Purpose**:
Aims to align resources and capabilities with the organization's mission.
Establishes frameworks for operational effectiveness and efficiency.
**Time Frame**:
**Components**:
**Nature**:
**Scope**:
Focuses specifically on how to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
Often emphasizes competitive positioning and market dynamics.
**Purpose**:
Aims to identify and exploit opportunities in the marketplace while mitigating risks.
Concentrates on long-term growth strategies and value creation.
**Time Frame**:
**Components**:
**Nature**:
While both corporate and strategic planning are essential for organizational success, corporate planning takes a broader view of resource alignment and operational effectiveness, whereas strategic planning zeroes in on achieving specific goals through competitive strategies and market analysis. In practice, effective organizations often integrate both processes to ensure comprehensive planning and execution.
What is the difference between theory of absolute advantage and a theory of comparative advantage?
Those theories both refer to international trade, however absolute advantage was mentioned earlier. According to it, a trade between 2 countries is possible only if one has absolute advantage (produces a good with less costs or with less time) and other has absolute disadvantage in producing that good but at the same time it must have an absolute advantage in producing the secong good.
If a country produces a good better (cheaper/faster), it would specialize on it and export.
Theory assumes that only 2 counties and 2 goods exist, no other costs except for labour are taken into account.
What is the diffrence between tube and pipe?
Tube and pipe are both used for conveying liquids or gases under pressure. They differ in how they are sized and their rigidity. A conduit is mainly used to protect and route electrical wiring.
What is difference between null value and not null value?
In databases:
Null Value: Represents the absence of a value or an unknown value. It indicates that the data is missing or not applicable.
Not Null Value: Indicates that a field contains a valid, defined value. It means the data is present and has been explicitly set.
What the difference between decriminalized and legalized?
1. Decriminalized:
Meaning: When something is decriminalized, it means that the activity is no
longer treated as a criminal offense. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the activity is completely permitted or free from any restrictions. Instead, decriminalization typically means that while the activity is not considered a crime, it may still be subject to some regulatory measures or civil penalties.
Example: If a country decriminalizes the possession of small amounts of a drug, individuals caught with these amounts might not face criminal charges or jail time, but the activity might still be regulated in some way, and there could be fines or other non-criminal penalties involved.
2. Legalized:
Meaning: When something is legalized, it means that the activity is fully permitted under the law. Legalization implies that the activity is no longer restricted or banned, and it is regulated by the government. Legalization often includes specific rules or guidelines for how the activity can be conducted.
Example: If a country legalizes the sale of a certain drug, it means that not only is the drug no longer illegal, but there are also legal frameworks in place for its sale and distribution. This might include licenses for sellers, quality controls, and age restrictions.
