Sun roof opened but will not close ' tries but stops '?
I have found that it usally is due to binding on the wind deflector. The best trick till you can get that resolved is to use a plastic card like a credit card or your video card, and place it in the opening just before it closes. It has to stick up high enough to go over the wind deflector and will actually act as a slide to push the deflector down as the roof goes over it. This can be a temporary or perminate solution depending on how motivated you are and the cars worth to you.
My sunroof does the same thing, but for me it is caused by the motor jamming, all i have to do is hit the motor and it closes, this works until you can rplace the motor.
Remember, the sunroof can always be manually opened and closed by removing the interior cover plate (on the ceiling) using a Torx (six lobe) driver- size T10, and then a standard screwdriver fits into the small, slotted pin located more-or-less in the center of the motor - rotating the pin one way or the other to open or close the roof.
Mine does this, and like in an above answer, it's the wind deflector. Reach out the window and above the front of the sunroof, and push it down a little while closing the sunroof. Remove your fingers as the flap starts to go down by itself.

How do you change a tail light bulb in a 2001 Acura TL?
It's not as easy as it should be. This is how I did it. Pop the trunk lid. You will see one or more black knobs in the area of the tail light assembly holding the interior surface. Unscrew the knob closest to the tail light assembly. You will see also a plastic strip running along the latch sill. It is held in place by four plastic screws. These work like anchor screws for drywall. First unscrew the screw and then pop out the screw housing. I removed all four. You might get by by removing the two closest to the tail light.
Pull the interior wall away from the tail light assembly. There will not be a lot of room and you want to pull the interior away just enough to get your hand behind it. Locate the blown bulb/s and twist the bulb holder. It will come free with the bulb. The bulbs are friction fitted, just pull out of the fixture.
Assembly is the reverse of this.
Clicking noise in bathroom vent when windy outside?
Usually this is loose vent flaps being blown open and closed by the wind. With the fan switched off take a look at the vent from the outside of the house. If it has flaps they may look "closed" in calm weather but they usually just hang down loose. Then switch the fan on and you'll see the flaps "floating" on the flow of air. If the noise is really annoying then, to solve the problem, the vent can usually be changed for the kind that has a fixed open grille and no flaps at all - but then you must regularly clean the grille to keep it clear of the damp fluff that gets blown onto it from inside the bathroom, otherwise it will get blocked and you'll think the fan is useless! To get over that particular problem the more expensive extractor fans and vents have springs to hold the flaps shut when the power is switched off and a little motor or other device to open them when the fan is switched on.
What is the buzzing motor on the side view mirror Toyota sequoia?
The driver's sideview mirror on my 2002 Sequoia started "buzzing" and I discovered that the only way to stop is was to hold the button halfway down that folds the mirrors inward. I used a toothpick as a wedge to keep the button in the halfway down position. I have scheduled an appointment to have the mirror control button assembly replaced. The cost of the part alone is about $150.00.

Why is Toyota Sequoia won't idle after battery replacement?
My wife's 2002 Toyota Sequoia idle was poor after replacing the battery. Nothing seemed to fix the problem. I replaced the fuel filter. I drove around the block. No change.
My brother hooked up my Sequoia to his new computer software and no faulty codes showed up. It said my car had no problems and that everything was running fine. Except it would not idle.
I did a little homework on toyotanation.com, and found some important information. As you drive your car, hundreds of sensors adjust to your style of driving, humidity, altitude, etc. Weeks after you drive the car, the engine calibrates to its surroundings for maximum efficiency. If one of the sensors fails, you get a "check engine light" on the dash.
When your battery dies for a certain period of time, all your car's self calibration is lost.
When you put in a new battery, the computer and sensors fire back up and they all go back to pre-set factory "zero". The engine has a hard time idling because it needs to re-adjust for something in you engine: dirt around the air intake flap.
I removed the black rubber intake and revealed the opening of aluminum intake into the engine. With the engine off, I used carb cleaner and a rag and removed all the dark dirt build up around the throttle flap and surrounding area. I used a screwdriver to hold the flap open as I cleaned up and around the round hole and flap.
Three good individual starts of the engine and a few moments of sputtering.... the engine ran perfect like before.
The soot causes the engine to run poorly because the sensors have not modified to compensate for the old soot. Remove the soot, and everything is back to normal. Clean intake, clean factory settings of the sensors.... Normal running car.
Within the next few weeks, your car will re-calibrate itself for maximum efficiency based on the way you drive, elevation and other small factors.
I hope my experience helps you out and keeps you from spending a fortune at the dealer.
