Could be a partially plugged fuel filter. Gets enough fuel to idle but not enough to work.

Hello, a few weeks ago my fronty developed a big fuel leak from the lines on top of the fuel pump. Bit of a pain to get to, had to drop out the fuel tank etc... taking out the pump wasn't too hard, and so, if you can find one, it shouldn't be a too bigger job. When raising/mounting the tank again, it's a good idea to make the fuel lines a little longer whilst you're there because trying to re-attach them is a pain in the bum. Bud.

The problem is the horn ring under the steering wheel, not the horn.

It should be located above the gearbox at the back of the engine probably closest to the drivers side of the vehicle.

the price of a genuine vauxhall oil pressure pump for the 2.2 16v with engine code X22XE from my local vauxhall dealer was £169 + vat that price was 4 weeks ago ( 14/12/09 ) cos i had to buy one for mine

According to my manual,there are three relay boxes under the bonnet for this year.One on the right/centre,one on the left/rear & the one you want is front/left.The relay is numbered K68 with a black connector block.It should be top row nearest the engine.Hope this helps.

Try ECU on fuel pump.

It is your glow plugs, the ECU measures them when starting, it is telling you one or more glow plgs have burnt out.

it is just to the right of the dip stick undo the big plastic nut and you will find it. have rag ready as its a messy job

zafira alarm is fitted inside drivers side wheel arch. whip off front wheel d/s remove inner wheel arch cover, hay presto..theres the little s**t..

Remove the outside hub cover with the auto lock logo then remove the circlip on the end of the drive shaft once this is done the shaft is then free of the hub assuming you have already removed the ball joints to free the hub from the wishbone

It is a complete pain. There is a plug located underneath the transmission itself that you have to pump ATF through. It is located near, yet higher up from the drain plug on the transmission.

Lift up the seat base and tilt it forward. Remove bolt holding the seatbelt to the floor.

There are fuses below the steering column to the right side as you sit in the drivers seat, pull the flap open. The fuse box is under the bonnet, again on the right side, mid way. I believe the fan heater fuse is located there.

The starter motor is situated just under the manifold on the left hand side of engine bay. Be aware if you want to remove the starter to check or replace,the manifold,accelerator cable fuel rail and air filter along with top radiator pipes and alternator must be removed prior to actually get to it. It isn't the easiest of jobs it does take a few hours. Tools needed are 17mm 19mm sockets and spanners wd40 spray patience and a good swearbox.Be also aware that the top bolt isn't easy to get to because of the bulkhead gets in the way but is possible to reach from under vehicle with ratchet and extension bar.....................Good luck people
