What is a recipe for vegan Nutella?
Home made vegan Nutella
1/2 cups hazelnuts
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
3-4 tbs vegetable or safflower oil
2 tbs soy milk
Using a food processor, grind the hazelnuts until fine and powdery. Process for another minute or two until creamy and smooth.
If you're using a less powerful food processor, this won't happen.
Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth and creamy, adding a little bit more soy milk to get the desired consistency.

Oils made from soy, rice bran, sunflower seeds, nuts, peanuts, olives, avocados, canola seeds, linseeds/ flaxseeds.
There are many oils that are beneficial for all humans to consume. The good fats that are in many oils that are produced from plants can help you maintain a healthy cholesterol level and they make some food just delicious to eat. Olive oil is a good choice when you aren't going to cook it, as raising the temperature past a certain point destroys the nutrients in it. Canola oil/ Peanut/Vegetable oils are good for medium to high temperatures. And coconut oil is quite fattening but adds depth of flavor to many foods.
If an oil does not come from or mix with any animal derived oils/fats then it is perfectly suitable for vegans.
How do you make vegan coconut yogurt?
Making yoghurt from scratch is hard enough let alone trying to make it vegan. my best answer to this would be to use a yoghurt starter mix. a lot of recipes for making yoghurt from scratch involve using already made yoghurt as a starter. as you want this to be vegan you will have to find an alternative for this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ZK50D2?ie=UTF8&tag=homemyogur-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B000ZK50D2
if you try buying this
the rest is easy all you have to do is look up any yoghurt recipe online and substitute the starter yoghurt for the original formula and the milk for coconut milk. i would suggest overall though buying the yolife yoghurt making book (also on amazon).
do be cautious as to how vegan you want the yoghurt though as yo life starter formulae contains good bacteria. it is impossible to make yoghurt without bacteria so there will always be a living thing in yoghurt it is just down to your definition of living thing.
Does Judaism encourage vegan-ism?
They eat meat, but they only eat what they describe as kosher foods. When they do eat meat it is only on special occasions.
What subsituting do vegans make?
There are so many great vegan foods and vegan recipes that most vegans don’t even think of what they do as “substituting.†It’s just eating great food.
New vegans may want to use old non-vegan recipes. There are plenty of products vegans can use in place of animal ingredients that will make vegan cooking easy.

Do vegetarians use less water then meat eaters?
On their own, no. Vegetarians still have to wash the dishes and do laundry all the same that meat-eaters do. A vegetarians water-footprint (like a carbon footprint, but for water and water resources) might be a bit smaller than a meat-eaters because they will not have the water needed to raise live stock involved.
Is Bakers Square fruit pie vegan?
I don't think so. I think the crust uses animal lard. Call one and ask.
What is in the Impossible Whopper?
Burger King is rolling out the meatless Impossible Whopper in several states, providing a new fast-food option for casual vegetarians (more on that “casual" descriptor in a moment). Eventually, every Burger King will likely offer the Impossible Whopper, since the burger has sold relatively well in test markets and has elevated the Burger King brand.
Unlike many vegetarian burgers, the Impossible Whopper is designed to taste like real meat—and some tasters claim it achieves that lofty goal.
“I couldn’t tell the difference, and I was shocked myself,” one Burger King assistant manager told The Washington Post.
So, what’s in the Impossible Whopper?
“Mostly soy protein, potato protein, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and heme,” the Impossible Foods' Whopper website reads.
Impossible Foods has spent years developing meat substitutes. The soy protein provides a “more beeflike texture,” per The Washington Post, and methyl cellulose provides a juicier bite. The secret ingredient is the iron-rich heme, produced through a complex genetic engineering process. Heme naturally occurs in all plants and animals but is found in higher quantities in animal muscle, and the soy-derived version used in the Impossible Whopper is fairly similar to its animal-derived counterpart.
There’s another reason the Impossible Whopper tastes almost like the normal Whopper: Both burger patties are fairly thin, and much of the Whopper taste comes from the bread, mayonnaise, and other ingredients.
So, should you try the Impossible Whopper? That depends. The Impossible Whopper is cooked on the same grills as other Burger King products, so contact with meat particles might make it a no-go for strict vegetarians. However, the chain does offer a vegan version, skipping the mayonnaise and cooking the patty in a microwave, away from any potential contamination.
And if you’re hoping to switch to the Impossible Whopper for health reasons, you might be disappointed. Although the Impossible Whopper has slightly fewer calories than the original (630 instead of 660), the vegetarian-friendly version has much higher levels of carbohydrates and sodium.
"The Whopper has 980 milligrams of sodium while the Impossible Whopper has 1,240 milligrams," dietitian Jessica Stafford told KMOX in St. Louis. "The American Heart Association recommends no more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium a day, and with the Impossible Whopper, you're getting well over a thousand. So the Impossible Whopper is half your day's worth of sodium, but that's okay. You can have that, but make sure everything else you have the rest of the day is naturally low in sodium."
With all that said, the Impossible Whopper should delight vegetarian diners who are looking for a fast food option. It’s not quite magical, but by all accounts, it’s fairly tasty—and while it’s about $1 more than the regular Whopper, that’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.
Why are some people vegetarians and go around imposing the same?
Because they think it is more ethical practice to be a vegetarian, respecting rights of living and freedom of animals too. And there are some who believe in health benefits of being a vegetarian and choose to be one.
Regarding why they impose on others - not everyone does. Some just silently practice, some try to convince others to quit non-veg diet, only some do so intensely. Compare it with olden days when slavery was perfectly accepted thing - those who resist, why they did so coming out of their comfort zone and without being afraid of being sidelined? Because they believed it was right and wanted to uplift others around. Similarly, some vegetarians feel strongly that humans need to evolve further and be more compassionate.
Hope this helps.
Yes. Both their flour and their corn tortillas are vegan.
How does the essay say meat eaters feel about vegans?
They believe that vegans are "horrific" and "immoral."
If the oil used to deep fry the potatoes has been previously used to for such things as fried chicken or chicken nuggets or chicken strips then the french fries are not vegan. This is because the chicken fat melts into the cooking oil which then soaks into the french fries and over a short period of time the oil becomes very full of animal fat. One safe place for vegan fast food french fries is In and Out Burger because their oil is only used to make fries. (there is no fried chicken on their menu)
Sometimes sugar is used to flavor fries(?!); white sugar may have been processed with animal bones, so avoid sugar if you are vegan.
Always check ingredients! Ingredient disclosure is required by law!
