Definitely, if you are only doing a short stop over i.e. 72 hours it is possible to get a short term visit visa if you fly via Emirates (Jhb or CT) to Dubai.

Most US citizens do not need a visa to visit South Africa providing they hold a valid USA passport. It is advisable to checl on regulations with the embassy before booking trips for changes to rules and for vaccination advice.

However, France is a part of the Schengen territories. Basically this means you can stay in France for up to 90 days on a normal short stay visa (given upon entry to the country). You must then be out of France at least 90 days before you are able to return again for a visit.

If you wish to stay longer you will have to apply for a different kind of visa.

Entirely depends on the nature of your visit.

Barbados is not included on the UK Border Agency list for Visa and Transit Nationals and as such you can visit the UK without a visa. If however, you intend to work, study, marry or essentially perform any activity other than short-term tourism then you are likely to require a Visa.

Sounds like it would be a good reason for filing a cancellation of removal. The drawback is that you must turn yourself in to ICE and have them begin deportation proceedings. If approved, the person can become a legal permanent resident (assuming the mother has an otherwise good background)
