What animals live in the brazilian tropical rianforest?
Animals that live in the Brazilian tropical rainforest include jaguars, sloths, toucans, macaws, and poison dart frogs. The rainforest is also home to a wide variety of primates such as capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, and marmosets. Additionally, diverse species of insects, reptiles, and amphibians can be found in this rich ecosystem.
What is an horses hearing frequency?
Horses can hear frequencies ranging from 14 Hz to 25 kHz, with their peak sensitivity being around 2-16 kHz. This wide range allows them to hear low-frequency sounds, such as footsteps and thunder, as well as high-pitched noises like vocalizations from other animals.

What mice live in the tropical rainforest?
Some mice that can be found in the tropical rainforest include the deer mouse, spiny mouse, and the various species of pygmy mice. These mice have adapted to thrive in the humid and diverse environment of the rainforest.
Why is insect blood green or yellow?
Insect blood doesn't transfer oxygen. That means it doesn't need hemoglobin, which is what makes blood appear red. Insect blood is only about 10% hemocytes (blood cells), most of it just watery plasma called hemolymph, tending to be green or yellow.
What is unique about all the mammals in the Order Marsupialia?
Marsupials have pouches to carry their young. No other animal besides marsupials have pouches.
Correction:
It is not the pouch that makes marsupials unique. This is a common but erroneous belief. Not all marsupials have pouches, and some other creatures, such as echidnas, do carry their young in a pouch.
What makes the marsupial different is the fact that the young are all born extremely undeveloped, after a short gestation period. Most species then nurture their joeys in a pouch, but the joeys of those that do not have a pouch cling to the mother's underbelly, secured by the mother's teat which has swollen in the joey's mouth.
In addition, female marsupials have two vaginas, or what are called paired lateral vaginae. These are for the purpose of transporting the sperm to the womb, but there is a midline pseudovaginal canal for actually giving birth. As well as two vaginas and two uteruses, female marsupials have two fallopian tubes and two cervixes.
Oology is the scientific study of bird eggs. This discipline involves the collection, preservation, and study of bird eggs to understand aspects such as bird species, nesting habits, and reproductive biology. Oologists use this information to contribute to conservation efforts and understand bird populations.
Birds that are carnivorous, piscivorous, nectivorous, insectivorous, and filter feeders may have specialized beaks adapted for their specific diets. For example, carnivorous birds may have sharp, hooked beaks for tearing flesh, while piscivorous birds may have long, pointed beaks for catching fish. Nectivorous birds may have long, slender beaks for reaching into flowers for nectar, insectivorous birds may have narrow, pointed beaks for capturing insects, and filter feeders may have wide, flat beaks for straining food from water.
Skills needed to be a zoologist?
To start, if you are working with the animals you are studying either in a zoo or in the wild, there is always the chance that you could be attacked. Of course, you could be studying fish for example, and this is unlikely to happen. But a Mammalogist is working with mammals constantly, and this may include animals such as gorillas or lions.
Another challenge you may face is trying to save our dying eco-system. For example, a demand for wood is causing us to chop into the rain forests, taking away the homes of animals, killing a few along the way. We may also urbanize locations along migration routes, etc. Pollution is another issue pertaining to the eco-system. Global warming (which i believe in, but others may not) or something like it is also a problem.
In addition to the on-job challenges, you may find it difficult to find a job, Because job growth is extremely slow at a 7% rate of growth.
Another issue (Which some may not find troubling) is you're constantly traveling around if you are working out in the field. Though this seems both exciting and fun, you may have loved ones you are forced to leave behind for however long you are gone. Also, those places you visit may have different weather patterns than you are used to, and it may have deadly diseases you aren't prepared for.
Hope i helped!
What do you call an animal that is both nocturnal and diurnal?
We can't tell. Some diurnal animalsdo come out during the night and very few nocturnal animals come out during the day. For example... Diurnal Animals That Are Active During The Night1.) The lion. It hunts during the day and can alsohunt through an entire night. 2.) Some bugs. Many grasshoppers, locusts and moths are active during the night. 3.) Some big and small house cats. I'm not sure what kind but I know some house cats are active during the day and night. Nocturnal Animals That Are Active During The Day 1.)Very rarely, the vampire and fruit bat can be seen during the day. 2.) Rodents. Rats and mice are nocturnal, but they do come out during the day. 3.) Some bugs. Many grasshoppers and moths are atcive during the day. That's all I know. If you know more, feel free to add you're opinions and/or facts to my answer.
Why is the B in Brachury gene capital?
The capital "B" in Brachury gene indicates it is the dominant form of the gene. In genetic notation, uppercase letters typically represent dominant alleles, while lowercase letters represent recessive alleles.
An artificial habitat is one that has been affected by humans in some way, usually that has been changed for a purpose.

FOR SURE AROUND THE MISSOURI / ARKANSAS BORDER THERE COULD BE SOME SINCE ARKANSAS HAS ALLIGATORS IN ALL IT'S COUNTIES. SO WHO IS TO SAY A FEW COULD NOT PERIODICALLY CROSS THE BORDER INTO MISSOURI. AS FOR CENTRAL MO, THAT WOULD BE MUCH HARDER. AND WHY WOULD THEY? THERE IS A LOT OF WILDERNESS IN ARKANSAS THAT THEY COULD MOVE AROUND THERE WITH OUT GOING FURTHER NORTH INTO COLDER CLIMATE LIKE MO. I CONTACTED THE MISSOURI CONSERVATION DEPT AND THEY SAID THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY VERIFIED NATIVE ALLIGATORS LIVING IN THE WILD IN MO. THE ONES THEY HAVE FOUND THEY SAID WERE PROBABLY SOME ONES PETS THAT WERE RELEASED INTO THE WILD. HOPE THIS HELPS, DANNY CHRISTY, LPC. (BOATS12003@YAHOO.COM)

One function of microtubules is being conveyor belts inside of Cells. They move vesicles, granules, organelles and chromosomes via special attachment proteins. See MTOC - micro-tubule organizing centers.
They also serve a cytoskeletal role. Structurally, they are linear polymers of tubulin which is a globular protein. These linear polymers are called protofilaments. The tubulin molecules are bead like structures. They form heterodimers of alpha and beta tubulin. A protofilament is a linear row of tubulin dimers.
The animal kingdom is divided into two large groupsWhat are the two groups?
The animal kingdom is divided into two large groups: vertebrates, which have a spine or backbone (like humans, birds, and fish), and invertebrates, which do not have a backbone (like insects, jellyfish, and worms).
What is the animal muscular system?
Like humans, animals also have to have the use of muscles to help provide movement and to some degree, protection.
Its important for almost every living creature to have a muscle system. The muscles work in antagonistic pairs to provide different movements such as flexing and extending two different muscles play the different roles and while one is working the other is relaxing.
How do fish behave when see another fish?
Fish may engage in behaviors such as schooling, chasing, or territorial displays when they see another fish. They may also engage in courtship behaviors if they are of reproductive age and seeking a mate. Responses can vary depending on the species and social structure of the fish.
What is the domain of the Emperor Penguin?
The domain of the Emperor Penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri) includes the Antarctic region, specifically the areas around the continent of Antarctica and its surrounding waters. They are well-adapted to the cold conditions of this environment, where they rely on sea ice and open water for feeding and breeding.
Which of the following scientist studies aminalis it botanist or zoologist orgeologist?
Im pretty sure its Botanist, Orgeologist, Zoologists that study animals.
What was Darwin's common descent with ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny?
This is an outdated idea proposed by Ernst Haeckel, not Charles Darwin. It suggests that the stages of an organism's embryonic development mirror the evolutionary history of its species. However, this hypothesis is no longer widely accepted in modern evolutionary biology.
What branch does a zoologist study?
A zoologist studies the branch of biology that focuses on animals, their behavior, physiology, genetics, evolution, and ecology. They work to understand and conserve animal species by studying their anatomy, behavior, and interactions with their environment.
Is a tortoise a vertebrate or invertebrate?
Tortoise are vertebrates they have a back bone like we humans do.
