the average is about 30 or 35 a month. this month (July) so far is fortunately only 3 and we are already 1/4 of the way through. The most in 2008 so far was 52 in April and the lower aside from this month was may. Last year was our worst year so far with over 900 deaths. it is getting alot better already though. The year is more than halfway over and we are only at 211!!!! although its horrible misfortune that these troops have passed away it is a vast improvement so far and the deathtoll this year could possible be better than that of 2003. which was less that 500.
