To remove the started on a Polaris 300 Explorer ATV first open the hood. Locate the started which will be up against the wall near the driver's side and remove the screws. You can now install a new started.
on the right side of the ATV there is a blocking plate with 2 screws take it off. locatedabout where your ankle would set. it should have a nut to lock the adjustment screw. break loose the lock nut turn the adjustment screw in till it bottoms out clockwise then back out a quarter of a turn. then tighten lock nut back up without turn adjustment screw.
if your KX 125 is a two stroke (which it most likely is. you can tell by the exhaust pipe coming from the motor. if it is huge, then it's a two stroke)
Two Stroke motors get their oil from the gas you put in the tank. the mix ratio tells how much oil is supposed to be mixed with what amount of gas. you do not check the oil in a two stroke. you just simply add it to the fuel every, i mean EVERY time you fill up.
buy the clymer manual first. there are clips on the inside of the cups remove them press the Ujoint out of the yoke. someone told me you need to install the rear drive shafts with the yokes/u joints the same on both sides lined up. Mine were from the factory. thanks
Don't know if this helps, but this is how you tighten a 750 years 90 - 96 Loosen the bearing holder pinch bolt, (hexagonal bolt on swing arm behind the chain on rear wheel.) Adjust the drive chain slack by turning the bearing holder using the pin spanner (a bit like a C peg spanner) and handle (included in the tool kit) the slack should be between 15-25mm Tighten the bearing holder pinch bolt. torque to 55Nm This is taken from the Honda service manual 90-96 VFR750F and worked on my FS (95)
pull the plug on bottom of engine and line the lines up to set tdc, on left side of 4 wheeler, the left cam has a 15 on it and you line that up with the gold key on chain.......then you count 15 links on and like it up to the 15 on the right cam and let tensioner off
Remove it and hook it up to a battery charger. If you don't have a battery charger, you can take it to Autozone and they will charge it for free. Just be careful handling the battery because battery acid can cause serious injuries and damage to property.
Mine would do 110 km/h on pavement if there was no wind. It also reaches this speed in about 12-14 seconds.

make sure th piston is set a tdc. both valves should be closed. the cam has a mark on the gear side which should be lined up flat with surface of head. both cam lobes should be up letting valves be closed. if everything is lined up correctly the ATV is in time.
If the cables are new they are defect. If they are old they need to be replaced.
Answer
They make cable lube just for this problem. Its a common problem when racing dirtbikes or quads. Dirt water get into them
Yes, you can't completely submerge it in water, while your riding it, but you can get it wet, when it rains, or when your washing it, or on a trail when riding.. But don't stick it completely into water while your riding..
The voltage regulator, or rectifier, is mounted between the radiator and the grill. It sits toward the left side of the ATV (as your sitting on the ATV). It is a thin black box with four, sometimes three, wires coming from it.
Do you have oversized tires? There are several things you could try, if you have oversized tires try a clutch kit, you can find them online, cant tell you which one is best, but you can bet it will be on Highlifters website. Next you could try a jet kit. If I wanted more power out of my Kodiak those are the first two things I would do. If that wasent enough you can add new exhaust.
around 75mph? or so.. very fast aceleration with a custom air fillter
