Everyone has a right to complain whether that person votes or does not vote. But, maybe if that person had voted, he or she might have nothing to complain about. In any event, I personally believe that people who don't vote should keep their complaints to themselves. If they don't want to participate in our political process of choosing government representatives, then they should not (although they have a right to) complain when those representatives do not act appropriately.

When voters go to the polls in November they are really voting for the electors of there state. Which ever party has the majority vote, then that party's electors get the vote for that certain state. and then those electors then vote for the president. This is all due to the Electoral College.

pro's of a primary are their quick, people can state their opinion by choosing a candidate in the primary. cons of a primary they are expensive and take time to organize.

The number of electoral votes for each state is equal to the sum of its number of Senators and its number of Representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives. Based on the 2010 Census, there is 1 member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Alaska. Therefore, Alaska had 3 electoral votes in the 2016 presidential election.

Usually this requires the vote of a City Council.

Campaign Speech Thank you for having me here today. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I'm ARLIN MOJICA GIRON. I'm a Grade Six pupil, under the advisory class of Teacher Dada, and I live in South Centro, Sipocot, Camarines Sur. As I meet with voters of this school, I'm commonly asked why I have decided to run for President? Quite simply, I feel that our school is in need of fresh ideas and a new brand of leadership. I'm under TEAM Party which stands for Together Everyone Achieves More running for President here in our school to spread our platforms which is more on Improvement in our School such as the proper (1) Implementation of English Drive, (2) the proper segregation of garbage and proper disposal of it, as well as the development of comfort rooms, (3) No Loitering Policy and (4) Littering Free Program. When I am elected as President, I will work as a key efficient member of the student council government, using the time management and critical thinking skills I have attained through my experience. It is a belief that we can truly make BRENTWOOD COLLEGE OF ASIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - Naga City a better place to learn and stay. My actions will not be half-hearted, nor will my promises be empty and broken. What I have told you I will do as PRESIDENT is what I will do. I am not a complacent person. I believe that things can always be better, that we could always have a bigger voice as a student body, that our campus could always be a better place to learn something new. In Minnesota, civil rights are restored when you complete your sentence. Presumably, this includes the prison portion and parole. If you never went to prison, but were on probation and completed that probationary term, you should be allowed to vote. HEre's the statute 2008 Minnesota Statutes 609.165 RESTORATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS; POSSESSION OF FIREARMS. Subdivision 1.Restoration. When a person has been deprived of civil rights by reason of conviction of a crime and is thereafter discharged, such discharge shall restore the person to all civil rights and to full citizenship, with full right to vote and hold office, the same as if such conviction had not taken place, and the order of discharge shall so provide. discharge is defined here: Subd. 2.Discharge. The discharge may be: (1) by order of the court following stay of sentence or stay of execution of sentence; or (2) upon expiration of sentence. So, I would read this to mean that when you are totally off paper, your rights are restored, but that your rights can be restored even while on probation, if so ordered by the court. Mike Huckabee is the former governor of Arkansas (1996-2007) that ran for the 2008 Republican nomination for the presidency. Huckabee won the Iowa caucus, upsetting Mitt Romney. Huckabee is a Baptist minister. He once lost 110 pounds.

In Ohio, the polls open at 6:30 am and close at 7:30 pm. When the polls close, if you are on the line, you will be permitted to vote.
