Theoretically, yes.
Best guess would be your timing is off.
Might want to start by pulling the #1 plug and checking to see if the rotor is pointed at the #1 tower on the cap when the balancer shows on or about TDC.
If it's close you should be able to use a timing light to bring it in to spec. Double check your firing order.
If that doesn't work, you might want to think about checking to see if the cam is aligned properly and the valves are properly adjusted.
How much RPM gain does a 1 inch Carburetor Spacer make?
I run a two inch open spacer on my supercharged 400 and it helps build torque.
The rpm gain is pretty hard to figure. Rpm does not always equal hp...I would say there is no real difference in rpm. The general idea is to create a taller plenum which would have been part of the manifold.... where low hoods do not allow the clearance and to make a heat barrier over a hot motor.. which may make more hp or torque on a hot day, but create driveabilty problems in cooler weather.
Have lights and radio but want start on a 1997 Chevy silverodo 1500 series?
you may only have enough voltage to run some accessories. i believe a starter needs at least 9 volts to turn an engine over. how much voltage does yours have?? check the voltage as you start it too with a meter. sometimes and rare it is it may have a fault inside the battery that opens when you put too much of a load on it.

Yes and it should be in your fuse block. Chances are that it is a relay fuse and you won't be able to tell if it is blown or not.

i`m not sure if its exactly the same, but in my jeep there was just 4 bolts. two up under the dash, and two down where the column goes out through the firewall. disconnect whatever plugs are attached. get under the hood and there should be a bolt holding the steering shaft to the steering U-joint, take that out and the column should come right out

2.2 Chevy head bolt torque specs?
The head bolts are torque to yield on these engines, meaning that once they have been torqued to specification, they must be replaced when removed. If it is an OHV engine (solid push rods with and internal camshaft and rockers on the head studs) there is a sequence to tightening the head bolts. First, tighten all bolts in a circular motion, starting from the center and working outwards. I prefer to go in a clockwise rotation, but as long as it is in the correct order, rotation is not important. The long bolts must first be tightened to 22 lb/ft and the short ones to 23 lb/ft. Next, in the same order as before, tighten the long bolts to 43 lb/ft and the short bolts to 46 lb/ft. Finally, in the same order as the previous two steps, torque all the bolts an ADDITIONAL 100 degrees (10 degrees past 1/4 turn). A torque angle meter is required to do this properly and to specification. A routine of mine that is not necessary, but I have found helps prevent warping when torquing the head, is when torquing to final spec of 100 degrees, first tighten 60 degrees on all the bolts in the same order as the first two steps, then an additional 40 degrees all around in the same order.
Tightening order:
8 4 1 5 9
7 3 2 6 10

What is the difference between 1955 Chevy 210 and bel air?
Trim and drive train options mostly. Bel Air was the top of the model line. 210 is the middle, followed by the 150. Things like carpeted interiors, extra chrome trim pieces, courtesy options and such were standard in the top line models with some available in the 210 while the econo 150 only came with plain Jane upholstery and a rubber mat lined floor. Also hardtops (pillarless) and convertibles were exclusive to the Bel Air line. Drive train options like V8 and automatic transmission were available in the Bel Air and 210, while the 150 was limited to a 6 cylinder and standard shift.
