the fireing order on the 350 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and number 1 on the engne is on the driver side front .... you will need to put it on top dead center , witch requires you to remove # 1 plug and turn engine until you feel compression ... then at the damper on the bottom pully is etched numbers starting with zero ( 0 ) you will need to put the flag close to that and take the distibutor cap off .. take note where the rotory button is and where the contact is that's where you start your fireing order with # 1 in a counter clockwise direction ... and if your unsure of where all the cylinders are all the odd # are on the driver side and the even are on the pasenger side !!! this method will insure your order is correct and you will save time !

Otherwise you can start the car, shut it off, open the drivers door and try it again. depends on the type of fuel injection on the motor... on the CSEFI injector assembly the regulator is located under the air intake plenum on the back of the fuel meter body.

If it's TBI, the fuel pressure regulator is located inside the throttle body.

Remove distributor.

Use punch to tap roll pin from gear at base of distributor.

Use an arbor press (not a hammer) to press distributor mainshaft out of gear. Shaft will then easily come free of the distributor. If a hammer is used, now replace the complete distributor.

Unbolt the pickup and replace.

Reinstall shaft and gear being sure that gear hole aligns with shaft hole.

Install a new roll pin.

Install in vehicle.

Set ignition timing.

First get a set of door pins and bushings from the parts store. It's a good idea to replace the bushings and pins when installing a new door, especially if the vehicle is older. You'll want to have some grease on hand as well. Disconnect your battery and take off the moldings, door handle and anything else you want to put on the new door. Disconnect any harness that runs to the door for power windows, automatic locks, speakers, adjustment lever for electrical side view mirrors and the like. You will need a friend or two to hold the door while you do the next part. Inspect the pin for any retaining device and remove it. Then take a hammer and a punch and knock out the door pin. Be careful not to try to knock it out the wrong way. It's helpful to squirt some lubricant or liquid wrench down the pin beforehand ( and let it soak in ) especially if the pins are old. Do this with your friend(s) holding the door so you don't tweak the metal where the hinges are when only have one of them loose. Then knock out the other pin. Next, and again using a suitable punch, knock out the bushings. Install your new door in reverse order. When putting in the new bushings be gentle and use something flat while tapping them in (emphasis on tapping ) to spread the shock of the hammer evenly around the edge. Put some grease in them before inserting your pins.

You will also need to deal with the spring that holds the door open. A simple tool is available from the parts store for less than $20 that will help you remove and replace that spring without damage to the door or yourself.

In fact there are none. That's right- there are absolutely no relays for the blinkers. But, there is a flasher, which it sometimes goes bad, and needs to be replaced.
