The main purpose of eyelids is to moisten the surface of the eye, which in terrestrial vertebrates (like you and I) is nessesary to provide the eye with lubrication to move. Underwater, the eye is lubricated by the water, and kept moist without effort, thus the eyelids are not present because they don't need to be there.

Interestingly, although it may seem that eyelids are the norm, the majority of species with eyes don't have eyelids. Insects for example.

I have 2 goldfish. Their tank is right next to my computer and speakers, and every time i play any type of music, from rock, pop, drum n bass, dubstep ANYTHING, they swim to the side closest to the speakers, as soon as i turn the music off, they go back to their normal routine of swimming about!

Koi is a type of Carp and will eat anything that is on the bottom of the pond or lake. They are omnivores, just like humans. I have caught carp with worms as well as corn. Koi, however need a special diet to keep their colors vibrant, so purchase commercially made food instead of allowing them to forage on their own. Oh, they also will eat mosquito larvae if they can catch them.

Well, if it is really sad ,it dies or doesn`t eat anything.
