Unfortunately in the public it is said that Iranians do not need visa, but according to my recent experience that occurred this month Jan 2012 they do need visa of Venezuela in order to travel to this country.

I wanted to travel to Venezuela via Colombia but the Venzuelan police in the barrier of Colombia told me that Iranians as well as many other countries of Middle East such as Iraq, Lebanon, etc. need visa in order to travel to Venezuela.
