1. The internet can be a tool that can be used as a "how to research" research tool. Set a task to be researched. Explain and explore the research potential and limitations of internet research.(for older students how do you reference the material in your research)

2.Set tasks to be fulfilled by a set deadline for a project to be completed i.e. 30mins total but clearly define internet research time as being 10mins of this time and 20mins as writing the project work. This prevents students from using the resource for personal resaons for all or part of the full 30min time session.

This should get you started and soon you'll be able to apply your current teaching strategies. Don't be afraid to experiment. The potential is great only limited to your or your students imaginations(remember these children belong to the www.Era they can help you help them).
