on the back seat there is two clips. if u pull up on the seat you will see the two clips. pull out on the clips and the bacl seat should come right up and there there is two bolts holding up the back rest. take out the two bolts and then lift up.

If it has the v-6, it has a belt. These are interference engines and if the belt brakes it will most likely bend some valves at minimum.

if it comes out just a little bit, gently tap DOWNWARD on the little bit that's sticking out, it should start to come out enough for you to grip it with your finger tips and gently pull straight away from the mechanism. I've found that older, slightly thicker cds will not jam, but some of the new ones coming out are ever so slightly thinner and have this problem :(

it's very EZ to change the fron and the back bank, just remove plastic covers and pull out one plug at a time and replace, use thread grease and torque. I did this on 1998 and there was plenty of room to work.

SRS sensor lights have a warranty extention. There is a factory problem with the SRS light coming on. Call your dealer. Your car has to have under 150,000 miles on it.

The transmission is a sealed system, if you're having to add fluid it means you have a leak. the 1999 CLs are notorious for transmission problems, get it to a transmission place asap. I had to have my transmission rebuilt, hopefully yours just needs a minor repair.

This is only a quick general description. The door panel must be removed. There is a plug in door panel up top right or left depending on what side you are working on that must be removed. Also in the top handle there is a screw behind a small cover for the door upper handle, remove it. The whole black plastic behind the upper handle needs to get pulled out. Next take off the bolts for the handle itself so it moves. There are 2 screws in the lower handle both have covers, remove them too. Carefully pop the panels in the lower part of the door working your way around. Next take off the black plastic side view mirror cover. Next remove the panel by working it up and out of its track. There will be plastic barrier on the door that must be removed to access the bolts. Un-clip all wires from the panel. You will at some point need to plug back in the window switch to move the widow to the point of accessing the bolt on the track that needs a ratchet to get to. Now you should be able to see 2 bolts holding the window on the track and I believe 3 or 4 that hold the motor in place. Pay close attention to how its in at this point, you will need to pull it all out but don't forget mounting points. The window will need adjustment with the new track in place so make sure you do the alignment before putting the panel back on.

Your most likely looking at around $500 (more at the dealer). Most mechanics will also replace your water pump when they do a timing belt job. This is a good idea because the pump is in the same area they are working in, and if your belt needs to be replaced you water pump is likely to be due for replacement too. So you should be able to get your timing belt and water pump replaced for around this price. Most of this cost is labor.

Bosch and NGK both say .044 in. for the 2.2 liter engine. Forums online say the manual states .039 - .043. Safe bet is .043.

The thermostat housing is located on the intake manifold at the end of the upper radiator hose. It has 2 bolts attaching the housing to the manifold. When you remove the upper radiator hose, the 2 housing bolts, and the housing, you will see the thermostat.

Not correct in all cases. On our 97 2.2 CL the tstat is at the end of the LOWER radiator hose. This is toward the rear of the engine compartment and one must disconnect the air plenum to get at the tstat housing bolts. There are plenty of wires in various harnesses to be held down and away to get the lower bolt out.

Your radio code should be in your glove box or in your owners manual. if you have neither, then you will have to call Honda and verify your vin and ownership.

Looking down from the throttle body on top of the transmission toward the rear drivers side of the transmission. it has 1 or 2 ten mm bolts securing it in.

you can reset it by disconnecing the battery for 1 hour then drive it for 10 to 20 miles and as long as there is no problems then it will stay out.

For the 2.3 CL, it's 4.5 quarts. For the 3.0 CL, it's 4.6 quarts.
