It is behind the glove box. Two stoppers are on the back of the box--spring them loose with a flat screwdriver. This loosens them and you can back them out easily, then take screw out of dampner strut at door's end, then two more screws and the door comes off. Three screws more and motor drops out, but one of them, the one forwardmost against the firewall is a toughee. Get something to give yourself as a good reward and keep the blood sugar up while you're working on this... takes some patience. Keep in mind you're saving a few hundred dollars on this. Mine was absolutely filled with mouse-chewed paper towels. What a difference now!

I've been a gear-head (racer, collector, etc..)all my life and have never really known different fuels to cause a problem, other than pinging, on newer cars. Until now, that is. I had been running the lower octane fuel in the Aurora then decided to begin running premium. After the first two tanks there was a noticeable difference in performance, smoothness, etc. Also, the fuel mileage picked up almost 2mpg. This car is one that definitely needs premium fuel and I'll never put the lower octane stuff back in it.

(Steps 3 and 4 must be completed within 10 seconds, or the system will exit the programming mode.) 4) Insert the key in the ignition switch. Make sure the power door locks cycle to indicate that the system has entered programming mode. 5) Press the "LOCK" or "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter. Make sure the power door locks (all except the driver's door) cycle to indicate that the transmitter has been accepted. 6) To program a second transmitter, press its "LOCK" or "UNLOCK" button within 10 seconds. 7) Release the master power door lock switch to exit the programming mode. 8) Remove the key from the ignition and confirm proper operation of all remotes.
