There is a pointer on the front engine cover. There are two notches on the crankshaft pulley. The white notch is Top Dead Center. The red notch is 15 degrees before Top Dead Center. To check the timing, first, jumper the Service Check Connector under the carpet on the passenger side footwell. Then, use a timing light and see if the red notch aligns with pointer while the engine is at 700rpm.

If you need yo adjust the timing (unlikely), you'll have to open the cover on the adjustment resistor. Turn the resistor clockwise to advance the timing (or counterclockwise to retard it).

Remove the jumper from the Service Check Connector when you're finished.

You need to be more specific on what model of Acura you are referring to. The engine size would also help. It's sort of like asking where is the oil filter on a 95 Honda..........Honda..........what?

You can locate your blower motor relay switch by looking at the diagram in a service manual. The blower motor relay switch should be below the dashboard on the passenger side of the passenger compartment.

No, it was a dealer installed option which became more popular on the 94 GS. The module is located on the passenger side behind the glove box. It has a gold colour metal braket with a black square plastic case.

The stater is located on the driver side. This is near the top just under the intake. Lots of work to remove the intake, then you can remove the starter. Just two bolts hold it in. First make sure you disconnect the batter before you remove the starter as this is connected to the batter.

To remove the driver side cv axle:

place a large flathead screwdriver between the transaxle housing and the axle. Then place a chisel behind the screwdriver. The order will be: transaxle housing, chisel, flat screwdriver, axle.

Then give the chisel a hit or two with a hammer and it should pop out with ease.

I'm not sure about the passenger side axle but I think you may have to take off the pillow block that is bolted to the transaxle which the cv axle sits in.

The fuse for your alarm is the same one that wont let your car start if its out so you cant just pull the fuse most likely youll have to take it ti a dealership or have someone who knows what there doing disconect it cause if not there goes your whip

its your main relay, there soilder joints that expand causing a bad coonnection,its located on the driver side kicker panel half way up over the fuse box usaully grey in color,cost about 65.00 at auto dealer.

If a jump start will not start it then it is not the battery. You either have a short in the battery cable connection to the battery or the engine/starter or you have a bad starter. Test for a short in battery, battery Cables or connection. Trace where the positive battery cable connects to usually an electrical box on the inside of the engine compartment and put the positive jumper cable there while putting the negative jumper cable on a metal part of the engine (you are by-passing the battery and the battery cables completely). If it does not start now then you have a bad starter.

Pull the battery and the battery heat shield and unplug the coil and sparkplug wires from the distributor cap. Remove the two 8mm bolts that hold the distributor to the head (12 mm wrench.) Remove the distributor, there are no wires attached to it. Remove the distributor cap and then remove the piece on the bottom of the the distributor that has an 'o' ring. The piece is just held in the distributor body by another 'o' ring that you cannot see until the piece is pulled out. Use a pliers or you might be able to remove it by hand. Then remove the snap ring from the distributor shaft. You can do it with a pick or a small nail as it is not very strong. Then push the pin out of the shaft and you can take the thing apart. There are three screws on the top side that might require removal, I'm not sure.

On a 1992 Acura Vigor idle is adjusted through a idle control valve. Tightening the valve well raise the lower the idle and loosening it will raise it.

Must be replaced every 90,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first. Warning: This is an interference engine.

Its probably in the heater core in the dash. Its supposed to be there. Acutally it is more than likely a bi product of your A/C running. The condensation that builds up must drain through the firewall. What is probably happening is that the drain is plugged and the water is not draining out. I have see this happen twice on Vigors.

It's slightly more difficult than changing the headlight bulbs. You need to remove the light housing (not whole assembly just foglight) it should only be a few screws. After that it is pretty self explanatory just remove the clip and twist the old bulb out. Do the opposite to put new ones in.

Disconnect the battery positive cable for 5 minutes. Of course the light will just come back on unless you correct the problem that set the light in the first place. Better Answer o re-set the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), remove the #39 Back-Up Fuse from the Underhood Fuse Box. Count to ten. Put it back in.

it realy depends on where the leek is located. need to know that first. is it in the radiator? the hoses? the water pump? heater core? or the head gasket itself leaking? need to know first before giving an acurate answer.

If you follow the tube running from your air filter box to the engine,it is located just above the point where the plastic hose/tube enters the engine.

The size for the rear speakers on a 92 Vigor is 6x9. I just replaced my speakers a few weeks ago. When you go to remove the old ones, make sure you save the spacers that are attaced to it. You will need them for the new speakers to sit in the space for the speakers correctly. Without them, your speakers will look like they are the wrong size. But they're not. You need to put the spacers in with them. I went to Best Buy to ask about the size of the speakers and the salesperson said they were 6 1/2" speakers. I almost bought them but I just knew that he was wrong. He was. The speakers are 6x9.
