What is an agnostic panthiest?

An agnostic pantheist is a person who, lacking proof of any particular god, may explore or even worship many gods from widely differing religions in order to either find truth in a single or combination of gods, or (infrequently) to hedge their bets in the hope that one of the many gods they worship might be the right one to gain entrance into the afterlife.

Edit: With apologies to the author of the above (myself -- apology accepted) the above answer was almost completely wrong. An agnostic pantheist is a person (that's the part I got right) who suspects that there is no god but is not convinced of this belief. They therefore profess that god is more of a metaphor for everything in the universe including matter, energy, and the laws of physics which governs the cosmos. This metaphoric god, according to the pantheist, has no consciousness per se and certainly does not interfere or care what happens in the matters of man.

Richard Dawkins, a world renowned evolutionary biologist and stanch atheist, describes pantheism as "sexed-up atheism" in his book, The God Delusion.

What does telco-agnostic mean?

This is a nonreligious use of the word 'agnostic'. It means, essentially, that a service is independent of any individual mobile network, and will (or should) work with any of them. Oddly, telco catholic may be a better term, since catholic (lower case c) means universal.

For example, when an ATM switch is bank agnostic, any user from any bank can connect using the switch.

What does the word agnostic mean?

Without Knowledge (or knowing). Used by people who say that it is impossible to know if there is a God or not.

Some one who is doubtful or noncommittal about something.

Some one who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.

Some one who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

Could the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus be considered a form of suicidal behaviour?

Opinion

You have asked an interesting question. In my opinion the answer is yes. Christ's behavior was designed to bring him to the attention of the authorities and could certainly be described as suicidal behavior or more succinctly, suicide by behavior. It is a common thread that weaves itself through martyrdom. Causing one's own death with much fanfare so as to bring attention to one's message.

Opinion

Could all of us be committed to suicide. Smoking, drinking, drugs or living life to die old. We already know that we will surely die. Could that be a form of suicide. He had to go through this to show us that He is God. Who else can survive suicide.

Opinion

Absolutely Not. People who commit suicide are technically committing the sin of murder.

Opinion

Jesus instructed the earliest believers about the prophetic and theological meaning of his death and resurrection. The resurrection of Jesus involved His physical body, but His resurrected life was a new kind of life called into being by God, the Effector of the resurrection. Because of the resurrection of Jesus, we have assurance of the resurrection of All persons; some to salvation and some to perdition. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is God's ultimate answer to the problem of death, not as you say, a form of suicidal behavior.

Who is Charles Templeton?

Charles Templeton was one of the leading mobile evangelists for the Youth For Christ movement in the 1940's-50's. He was partnered with the late Billy Graham. While with YFC the two had travelled throughout the United States and Canada. However, though he was widely trusted to be a faithful Christian he was suffering from an inner turmoil and questioning of that faith.

He would continue to struggle with these questions as he left for theological training at Princeton Theological Seminary. After college he would travel and preach all the while never fully writing off the doubts he had. After much debate within himself Charles left the church as an agnostic. It was a huge loss to the Christian community.

Charles remained friends with Billy Graham until he passed away. Charles remained an agnostic until his departure from this world. Some of the biggest questions he had were: "Why would a loving God allow so much pain in this world?" and "In a world with thousands of religions why is it that Christianity is the only one that supposedly works?"

Aside from his notoriety in the world of religion, Charles was also a talented cartoonist, journalist, and even dabbled in the world of political commentary. He lived in Toronto and was more noted by Canadians rather than American accolade.

In the end it was his battle with Alzheimer's disease that took him.

There is probably a low frequency in the room that you can't hear but your brain picks it up subconsciously. But generally it's because our culture believes in the possibility of ghosts and spirits so that a placebo affect takes place making you "feel" something.
