The MacBook Air is the lower end laptop so I really don't think it would work well if you did get it to work. It came with permanently installed ram, meaning you cannot add more after it was purchased. Unless the MacBook Air's ram was maxed out when it was purchased new, that old of a laptop would just be too laggy.

If you know someone that has an account then you can try installing Minecraft on your computer and have them log into their Minecraft account and see if it will play well.

If it is a PC game it will only work of Windows, but the new Macs that are coming out have Windows already installed on there. All you have to do if load Windows when you boot up. Then insert the PC disc otherwise it will not work on Mac.

Game Center is an Apple application you have to download to your computer in order to log in and use. You must have an internet connection in order to use its features, which include playing games with friends online. Simply open Game Center on your computer and log in using your Apple ID. If you don't have one, create a new Apple ID.

UPDATE:

Actually, you can't get Game Center on a computer unless you have a mac. (unless you use third-party applications to download it) Game Center is only available on apple products and is not compatible with games outside of apple.

Open Contacts. On the bottom of the screen you will see a + sign. Click that and then click New Contact. You can also add contacts within Mail by clicking the down arrow next to an email address in an email you have received and then clicking Add to contacts.

it may be too old. however if it can be upgraded to the latest mac os. it may still be worth it. dont spend anymore than $300. the parts in it are not worth that much.
