what kind of answer is this? really if you don't know the answer don't say nothing at all, this person was looking for an exact spec so that he can torque his head down the right way there is a reason they have torque spec

usually a cracked head but i dont think that bike is liquid cooled

I found the VIN numbers on both of my Kawasaki ATV's on the lowest frame tube parallel to the ground. The Prairie 700 had the number on the left under the front differential. The Bayou 250 had the number directly under the engine on the left side.

The numbers are stamped into the frame and not that obvious, but are easy to see once you know where to look.

Not sure what timing is meant but the service manual states: "The exhaust emission control system applied to this engine family is engine modifications that consist of a modified carburetor and an ignition system having optimum ignition timing characteristics."

i have had mine up to 120 Km/h right on the pin, which is 75 mph exactly. That's all you will get out of it stock. Trust me i have a need for speed and have tried it many times.

Place the heel of your foot on the footrest platform and tilt your foot forward, placing your toes/top of your foot under the shifter. You start in gear 1. To get to gear 2, let off the gas and lift your entire foot (which will lift the shifter), or you can lift your toes if your foot is strong enough. Press back on the gas. You're in gear 2. In order to down-shift, step on the shifter to push it down. Up to up-shift. Down to down-shift.

Depends on the make and model. If it's a utility, you'll be lucky to hit 30. If it's a sport model, you could potentially hit 80.

This answer is based on a four stroke engine. A small amount of oil is somewhat normal. The oil is most likely getting past the piston rings. As the piston moves down the fresh air and fuel charge enters the cylinder. As the fuel comes in it will wash the oil off of the cylinder wall. The gas and oil blend together, now as the piston moves up to compress the fuel air mixture the intake valve is just starting to close. Before the valve is all the way closed a small amount is pushed back out of the carb. This happens many times in a minuet. Now that the mixture of oil and gas is in the front of the carb the gas will evaporate leaving just the oil that you see. This is all dependent on how much there is. How well does it run? Does it burn oil? Will it "pop" back through carb? It may need a valve job? I guess we all just need more info, such as make model year and miles on it or run hours. I hope this makes sense??........

Appears the saga continues. I went this morning to get the registration performed for my 2003 Arctic Cat ATV at the local Alabama tag and title office. They denied it. I was told that it could not be registered. As I probed, with extreme disdain from the clerk, it appeared that she was unaware of who regulates this. After coming home and looking at further research I determined that the AL Department of Revenue is the actual decision point. It also appears that I have to have a "designated agent" inspect my ATV and give me a written verification that it is road worthy. I am now trying to find out if a state trooper is a designated agent. My hope is that I will then be able to have them inspect it and get the necessary paperwork to force the probates hand.

Yes, it connects the control lever on the left side of the engine to the differential.

The short answer is NO. However you are permited to cross roads at a 90 degree angle after yeilding the right of way. Converting an ATV with the same equipment as a street legal motorcycle is not an option either. The "PA motorcycle sheet" (found here http://www.dot3.state.pa.us/pdotforms/fact_sheets/fs-momo.pdf) clearly states that "ATVs can not be reconstructed for highway use".
