Most ATV tires tell you how much air should be in the tires. Look on the side wall to determine the maximum operating air pressure. Most are normally rated for 5 lbs normal operating pressure.

The simplest way to build the snorkel is to take the measurements of the intake hole and buy PVC piping that would match the hole. Also, consider using pipe/hose that is larger in diameter than the stock intake to account for the reduced airflow caused by the resistance of the extra pipe/hose. Then get two pieces of flex pipe to make the joints, one for the intake entry and the other for the exit point.

1. Attach the intake portion to the flex pipe.
