There is no solid connection between the kid crying and it's future health. It can cry AND get sick, or it can remain quiet and NOT get sick - entirely at random. All the crying says is that then and there the baby is strong enough to cry.

Your first and primary responsibility as parents is your newborn. When the newborn is crying, you don't know what situation exists that is causing this ... could be anything, including choking on something ... you don't know until you physically check on the baby, and your newborn must be your only priority during these formative years.

Take a large needle, hat pin, or an ice pick (depending on how large you want the hole), then sterilize it over a hot flame for a few seconds. Then run the tip through the existing hole in the bottle nipple to enlarge it to the size you want.

Actually, quite good. 14 year olds are having babies all over the world, and have been having them for thousands of years. There are some difficulties that are more common at a young age(like a pelvic incompatibility, i.e. the baby is too big for the girl's small pelvis - which means a Caesarian section is required) but these are generally minor or uncommon. Make sure the mother gets good nutrition (vitamin supplements etc) and regular Gynecologist checkups during the pregnancy.

Yes they do. They experience every emotion you do. They hear every thing. When you drink pop it sounds like fire crackers to them. They also get scared. Well maybe not scared as we know it. When I was pregnant with my son. On Halloween we played spooky music while handing out candy. He moved and kicked so much while that music was on. Once I turned off he calmed right down. To this day he does not like spooky music. He is now 8. They are amazing creatures. If you are asking cause you are pregnant. Enjoy the pregnancy. Even if you are sick. They grow so fast it is unbelievable.
