Some 318's come in a Ti version (truncated), its a smaller hatchback version of the E36, in that particular year aswell began production. Those diffs I believe run a slightly different ratio and thus it wouldn't fit a 320. However, if its just a standard E36 body style, saloon, sedan, coupe etc. It should fit, although some tweaks change between the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder BMW's.
