Can you put brake fluid in your oil tank to unlock the engine?
I have never heard of such a thing and I wouldn't recommend it. I have heard of old timers putting a teaspoon of motor oil in their tank when they filled it to preserve valves. I wouldn't recommend that either. If your motor is seized ( you said locked ) this wouldn't help. If your motor is seized you can't turn it by putting a wrench on your crankshaft bolt. This usually means something is wrong in the motor itselfand adding something to your fuel will be fruitless.
If the engine has been sitting for years and is just locked due to non-use, remove all spark plugs and pour 1/2 cup of kerosene in each cylinder. Wait 48 hours see if you can turn it over with a socket and ratchet at the crankshaft. If you can, then change the oil/filter, put the spark plugs back in and see if it will turn over.
If your motor has interference heads do not try to start it with out finding out if it is out of time. If one of these motors is out of time you won't be able to turn it because a piston(s) is touching one of the open valves. Starting it could shoot one of those valves through your valve cover or damage ( or break ) a rod.
If the vehicle has been sitting for years ( as above ) the timing belt is much more prone to breaking. The polymer in the belt conforms to the shape of the pulleys and becomes brittle. Most recommend 4 years or a certain number of miles ( ie 60K for bmw). Consider this if your motor has interference heads; even if it is in time and has been sitting you should probably change the timing belt.

if you look at the bell housing you should be able to see the bleeder valve sticking out. take a socket and losen it is a 12 or 13 mm if i am not mistaken have some one else inside the car to pump the brakes watch fluid coming out when it stop sputtering and starts to flow smoothly tighten the bleed er valve back down. be sure to top off you fluid before you start

My wife has had this same problem with her 2001 subaru legacy. Last night she drove a friend's '98 legacy and got into an accident because his brakes would not engage. She reports that the brakes were stiff, would not budge and could not stop whatsoever. I had ther same thing happen to me 3 times this week at ambient temperatures of 0-7F. I have a 2001 Subaru Outback LLBean edition. I called a dealer in Massachusetts and the service gentleman told me the following. Either the cold brake fluid just needs to be moved around some in order to get the brakes working properly, or I may have gone through a puddle (causing ice buildup) or had a lot of brake dust build-up, and it was necessary to heat up the rotors to get good contact. Lately I have been stomping on the brakes a couple times right after starting the car, and I haven't had the problem (but it hasn't been quite as cold since I started doing this). The service guy did not recommend coming into the dealership for any modifications to the car. A similar thing happens with my wife's 2002 Outback (LL Bean Edition). First couple of times it occured, car ended up in neighbor across the street's driveway! Car will stop if really stand on the brakes. I'm beginning to think it's related to the vacuum boost for the power assist. Like the earlier comment, I found that really pushing on the brake pedal several times when the car is first started seems to free things up. Answer. I have a 2003 Outback LLBean, exact same problem.

I been having this troublle for about 3 months it annoys me everytime I drive the van , the first thing in my mind is the brake pad, second the wheel hub. So bought this two parts before pulling down just in case. I take off the two bolts holding the caliper to get get access to the brake pad and try to clean it first, I notice that there are foreign particle in between the groove of the pad so I carefully cleaned two pad with the tip of a file, I assembled it and try to drive around and whalla no more squeaking.
Could also be the brake "squealer" is telling you that the brake pads are worn down and in need of attention.
Usually a sign that the "wear indicators" are rubbing against the rotor (as designed) to let you know that brake pads need replacement
