I think it's held on just by those plastic things you ram in there to hold it on. Try finding a Haynes or Chilton's repair manual on Amazon. They should have an answer.

Why might the 30 amp fuse for the heater-AC blower keep blowing when you turn it on?

If the fan turns on, it could be a short to power (two power wires shorted together) causing the increase in amperage. If the fan doesn't turn on, it's probably a short to ground after the switch in the circuit; where power is bypassing the intended path, which is the blower.

Where is the fuse panel located on a 1997 Buick Skylark?

This answer is based off knowledge of my '95 skylark, take it with a grain of salt because it could be different. On mine it is located on the drivers side, on the lower left panel of the dash. It should have a plastic cover that simply pops open.

How do you change spark plugs on a 1998 skylark?

If it's a V-6, the front plugs are easy to replace but you'll need a universal joint to get at the back plugs. You practically have to climb on top of the engine to get at it. It can be done but it's a royal pain. You have to use sense of touch-only.

How do you flush the radiator in a 1991 Buick Skylark?

It is easiest to remove the thermostat and drain the radiator by removing the lower hose. Dispose of the coolant properly. reinstall the lower hose and run water from the garden hose through the engine with it idleing until it runs clear. Then remove the lower hose to drain the radiator and reinstall the thermostat with the spring toward the engine. Then fill the radiator with coolant and start the engine up and top off the radiator after the thermostat opens. You should end up with about a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. Good Luck Joe

How do you replace the water pump on a 1997 Buick Skylark?

On a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder - disassemble the timing chain cover. Put a jack in front of motor to support it. After that, disassemble the front motor mount support. After timing chain cover and motor mount are out of the way, rotate the motor to where the alignment marks are lined up. (Refer to Chilton's manual) At this point, look on the left bottom portion of the timing chain (this is below the twin cams), you'll see what looks like an idler gear towards rear of car. This is the water pump. Disassemble it from under car.
