I have the exact same car and exact same problem so I called my local Cadillac dealership and all it was is the Valet button in my glove box was off. Check ur valet button and problem solved

yes, you have to use 22x8.5 rim, otherwise the 22x9 will hit the front strut, as its too wide and not much room there.

MORE THAN LIKELY YOUR FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR IS GOING BAD.IF THE VEHICLE SOMETIMES TAKES A WHILE TO START IS A GOOD INDACATION ITS BAD.YOU ALSO MIGHT WANT TO TAKE ALOOK AROUND YOUR INJECTORS TO MAKE SURE THEIR NOT LEAKING.

If it's the kind of brake that has a little 'pedal' that you push down with your left foot, it probably has a small release lever at the bottom edge of the the dashboard, between the steering wheel and the driver door. You would pull the lever toward you.

Or, the brake might be a handle that looks like the handle that you pull to start a lawmower. If so, to disengage it you have to pull it toward you and then twist it to allow it to go back into position.
