Where is the low-pressure cycling switch plug in a 1999 Chevrolet lumina?
On the top of the drier at the passenger side firewall Wrong the pressure switch is on the ac line under te air cleaner assl. There OS no drier on the fire wall it is before the switch .
Low oil pressure or a faulty sensor. First thing to do is to replace the oil filter with an AC/Delco filter. This is an excellent filter designed for your Cadillac. If that does not solve the problem, replace the oil pressure sending unit. If that does not do it, then an oil pressure test is in order, to determine if the oil pump is faulty.
try a heavier grade of oil it worked for me
Were is the bleeder valve for the air pockets on a 2000 Cadillac Deville?
it is not a valve it is a hollow bolt located on left side (drivers) of engine. follow the hose from the coolant system pressure tank where you fill the coolant take the beauty cover off top off engine. 2 bolts now follow the hose from fill tank across engine it will lead you to a bolt take this bolt out and make sure it is not plugged up with crap this is how the air finds its way to the fill tank. i don't mean to scare you but this engine has head bolt issues and makes the coolant gauge go up down when ever it feels like it and things just get worse from there i am going through it now. i want my lexus back
Where is the timing mark on 4.9 Cadillac DeVille?
If you have the northstar motor with dual overhead cams you will find one timing mark on each cam gear as well as (after you unbolt the oil pump) a mark on the crank and a mark on the gear above . You should have a total of three chains driving the system one running from the crank to the gear above , one chain that runs from the drive gear to the left side head (which will be marked on the caps that hold down the cams on each head ,ie li le left intake left exhaust, there will also be the same marks on the right side head. The marks on the crank should line straight up and the mark on the gear above should also be positioned straight up each of the cam gears should at this point be facing 90 degrees from the flat surface where your valve cover seats i recommend using a speed square to make sure this is correct and you should be in perfect time.
Where is the water pump located on a 94 deville with a north star engine?
On the North Star engine you need to remove the air filter assembly and look on the right side of the engine you will notice the thermostat housing connected to the water pump cover on the engine. Once the water pump cover is removed a special socket is needed to remove the water pump. It is also a good idea or install a new belt on the water pump as well.

How do you drain the radiator?
Go to Walmart and for about $3 you can buy a cooling system flush kit...it will be in the auto parts section near the antifreeze. There are instructions on the package that will tell you how to do it. It is incredibly easy and takes about 15 minutes.
HI There is no real trick. The best way to acccomplish this is to first have the number one piston up at the top on the compression stroke.(number one piston must be at top of compression stroke) To be sure of this, pull out the spark plug in number one cylinder and take off the rocker cover. When the piston is on its way up and the intake valve is closing,it is coming up on compression stroke.(Get the piston as close to the top as possible) Now a chiltons manual will show you where on the distributer cap number one plug wire goes, put in the distributer with the rotor on it and keep dropping it in(turning the gear a little) until the rotor is pointing to the direction the manual shows is number 1 on the Cap. Set timing,Your done

What are the features of a good fuel?
I don't know any "official" answer, but I can list a few good traits:
High energy density. A gallon of gasoline can send a thousand pound car hurtling down a road at 60 mph, for 30 or so miles. Some of that is efficient use of the energy, but that energy has to be there. A fuel that needs, say, 5 gallons to achieve the same effect has a handicap.
Low energy cost to produce. Some fuels have a high energy density, but we spend tons of energy producing them. Ethanol has had some criticism leveled at it for this reason. It costs a lot more, energy wise, to produce ethanol instead of gasoline, and the increased efficiency doesn't make up for it. For low energy cost, the ideal fuel is something you can just pick up and put into your tank.
Stable. You don't have to worry about it just bursting into flames on it's own. Deisel is very stable, it's actually hard to light on fire directly. Jet fuel..not so much.
Renewable/Sustainable. The long term viability of the fuel is also important. You could have the highest energy density, lowest cost to produce, and incredibly stable fuel...but if you run out in 2 years...who cares?
<<>>
Another quality of a good fuel is that is does not produce CO2 when used. Coal, oil and gas are all carbon fuels, and burning carbon with oxygen from the air produces the gas carbon dioxide or CO2. When the chemical carbon-oxygen bonds are formed, a lot of heat energy is produced, which is how these fuels work.
Same carbon is safe to burn, that is carbon which was taken out of the atmosphere recentyl, let's say in the last 200 years. Therefore burning wood is OK because the trees took CO2 out of the air when growing. Ethanol made from crops is also good because growing the plants absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere.

Where is the blower control module located on a 2002 deville?
The blower control module is located behind the icm module which is mounted to a bracket directly behind the glove box. The blower control module is mounted to the right side of the upper part of the blower housing. It actually seals the upper housing of the blower assembly. When removed you can see part of the fan wheel through the opening. Two 5.5mm socket size screws hold it in place to seal the upper housing. Remove only one and just loosen the other and it removes easily. You must have the connector to the blower itself disconnected to fully remove and replace. Its quite a bit of work to get to but if you have the paitence, it beats paying the mech/dealer mech to do it. Hope this helps.
