22" rims will fit without a problem. With a slight lift you can fit 24"s.

The starter is in the cylinder valley under the intake manifold. Real easy to get to.

Unhook battery cables and then hook back up. Just a temporary fix for an alarm that won't stop. The system can't be completely disarmed unless you want to take a chance on the engine being disabled.

Most simple incandescent light bulbs are made of a thin section of tungsten through which the current flows.

This section of tungsten is called a "filament".

The tungsten filament has electrical resistance and so is a resistor.

As a resistor it develops a voltage drop. This voltage drop multiplied by the amperage passing through it equals the wattage of the bulb.

The heated tungsten gets to thousands of degrees above room temperature and becomes hot enough to produce yellow-white visible light.

As a resistor, the tungsten light bulb has a positive resistance coefficient.

This means that the electrical resistance goes up when the filament becomes hot.

For example, a 100 watt light bulb operated at 120 volts - it does not matter if it is AC or DC for this calculation - will have a resistance of 144 ohms when hot and draw .833 ampere.

When cold the filament typically has a resistance of only 10 ohms which increases as the filament heats up.

An interesting note:

The typical incandescent light bulb life is between 1000 and 2000 hours.

Some "long life" incandescent light bulbs simply have a thicker but longer section of tungsten and can run 5,000 to 20,000 hours or more without failing.

This type of bulb is sold to hotels and other places that want to reduce the replacement frequency of the bulbs.

If a manufacturer desired to do so they could make a light bulb which would last even longer than 20,000 hours by increasing the filament thickness but they feel that economically it would not be desirable for them, as they would sell less light bulbs.

change the front shocks

You can fit twenty two inch rims on a Taurus with some major modifications. you need to have the inner wheel wells removed and you need to get special adapters to fit the rims on the factory hubs.

Easy fix, actually just did it today on mine. Follow the large radiator hose located on the top right of the radiator (if you are standing at the front of the car facing it) and follow it to the intake. Take a flat head screw driver and release the clamp holding the hose. Next take out the two bolts on that spout looking thing that the hose came off of. Remove the "spout" and it will be sitting there waiting for you to change it.

Try wipng the sensor off on the Ignition key. Wipe it Hard as it can get "Cruded up" with everyday handling. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the battery for at least 30 minutes to let the computer reset. If those don't work you'll have to contact your local Cadillac dealer for options.

you can makea plate to bolt to the head and in between the alternator mount bolt. make it out of 1/4" inch steel plate. make your template out of a piece of tracing paper and then lay it out on the steel plate the way you need it. Take off enough in between alternator ear for plate to fit against engine flush. you can move mount over to space beside the old boss where the pulley originally bolted on. it will work, but requires lots of exactness to make correctly. i did it. have pics of everything. you need to have a good welder to weld a nut on the back side of plate. you must allow for the distance of pulley sticking out by drilling a hole in plate that is same size as pulley shoulder so it will drop down even like old setup. weld a plated nut on back side so the pulley will tighten down exactly and it will be same distance as old pulley was. take your time. my Cadillac went to the dealership where some idiot drilled the side of the broken stud with a angle drill and drilled the side of he bolt off where the stud originally broke and then broke off an easy out in the block. their fix was a new block or shorter belt which squeeled like a hurt pig everytime the car was started. this was cadillacs final fix which costed me 500.00 . unless i wanted the block replaced. don't ask the price. all in all you are better off to do it your self unless you can't , but then find a good mechanic, as cadillacs mechanics were not impressive to me...

You will need to go underneath the front end and I believe it is a 1/4" mini socket or nut driver size to remove 2 mini screws (1 on each side of underneath license body molding). I had to remove the under screen (the cover piece under the front end that is connected with about 6 or so plastic pins. This pins on my 2000 Deville had to be pulled out with some needlenose pliers first and then the plastic core piece will fall out and then you just need to remove as many as 4 or 6 so you can maneuver your hand underneath where license plate bracket area is and grab each screw by hand as they are connected to a metal clip that once you loosen them all the way up they don't pop out unless you give them a little tug with your fingers. Then the face plate molding where the license plate goes should pop right out. I had to go to Advanceauto parts to get some little plastic square peg inserts that are threaded and have screws that come with it. Pop these in with your fingers. Then you can screw in your license plate into something that will hold it. otherwise the backing is just little square openings with no threads and you won't be able to get a screw to take. Good luck.

I drive a '84 Cadillac Deville and I'm sure the fuel filter is probably in the same place. It's located on the driver side under the car a few inches in front of the rear wheel. It's easy to spot. You need two wrenches to get it off and something to catch the fuel that in the line in.

I've repalced a fuel pump in a 94 Cadillac STS and it required removal of the gas tank. The sending unit is on top of the tank.
