Can you use a 4 ohm and 8 ohm speaker cabinet linked together?
Yes, but you need a big industrial chopper/mixer!
Really need more information here. The total will be 2.67 ohms. If it is a solid state amp that is rated to go down to 2 ohms you should be OK. The 4 ohm speaker will get receive twice the power of the 8 ohm. If it is a tube amp that is designed for 2-3 ohms ( not likely) it would also be OK for the amp.
Will wiring a 16 ohm woofer with a 16 ohm tweeter in parallel result in a total ohm load of 8 ohms?
If you mean as pairs, yes.
put an 8 Ohm and a 16 Ohm speaker in parallel for each channel. The 16 Ohm speakers will take 1/3 the power and the 8 Ohm speakers will take 2/3 the power. The resulting impedance will be 5.33 Ohms.
because people wanted to sing and make speaches
No, because some people wanted to speak louder
CDs No need for the apostrophe as the CD does not posses anything. Example of possession would be, "Steve's car is brand new." CDs is the way you write the plural form (more than one CD) of CD (CD is singular or just one CD.) ------------------------------------ one exception to the above: "John examined the CD's content by looking at the list on the back." this is a possession case!

What is the speaker size of 1995 Pathfinder front speakers?
5"x7"... But not all 5x7's will fit. Go to crutchfield.com and cross-reference your vehicle. They'll be able to inform you of what brands will work and if any modifications are necessary... Good luck.
How do you match amplifier and speaker watts?
Short Answer:
Try to get speakers with an RMS wattage rating roughly equal to the RMS wattage rating of the amplifier (per channel).
Further Information:
If you amplifier puts out 75 W RMS per channel, get a speaker that can handle 75 W RMS. If you get a speaker that handles 150 W RMS per channel, you will find that the amplifier doesn't have the power to make it sound as good as it could / should. Also, lower frequencies (where the amplifiers wattage rating is put to test) could burn out your amplifier.
The opposite is also true. If the speaker can only handle 25 W RMS and you hook it up to a 100W RMS amp the amp might send so much current through the speaker coil that the coil wires heat up, burn off their coating and short together. This, in my opinion, is much less likely to happen though.
NOTE:
An amplifier doesn't put out its rated wattage all the time. The amount of wattage dissipated by the speaker varies directly and greatly with the music. A flute solo for instance being played with a huge 1000 W RMS amplifier might just put out 20 W RMS during the solo. But when the big organ kicks in jumps to over 900 W RMS.
How do you send a digital radio signal to a FM radio?
Frequency Modulation must have a carrier whereby the frequency can be modulated by the signal
How do you set the clock on a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse?

How do i change the stereo in a 1988 Lincoln Town Car?
First you will need to remove the three sheet metal screws from the radio trim below the dash. Then snap out the 1 1/2" plastic trim piece above the radio trim. Next take out the three screws from behind the trim. Pull the instrument cluster trim piece away from the dash and pull the radio trim panel out from beneath the cluster trim panel. now you will have to remove three hex sheet metal screws (7/32") that hold the radio and radio brackets in the dash. After that just disconnect the two wiring harnesses, antenna, and harness retaining clip.
Replacing the stock deck will require the use of a wiring harness (unless you want to cut the wires, but that is a bad idea. You ca pick up a harness on eBay for about $5 but if you buy it at a place like Best Buy expect to pay at leat $20). Plus if you are switching to a new stereo instead of the old shaft style you wil also need an install kit, I would recommend the Scosche kit because they are probably the easiest to use. Hope this helps.
How many amps does 4 use wire carry?
What is 4 use wire? You mean 4 conductor? In any case, it depends on the wire gage and whether it is stranded or solid conductor. Look on the side of the wire. There will likely be something printed or empossed on the insulation like the following: 4-18 which would mean 4 conductor, 18 gage wire. Single conductor wires will have the AWG directly on them such as: 12AWG or 10AWG as used in homes. Find out the gage and reply. Then I can tell you the amperage limit for the wire.
Out of curiosity, .... why do you want to know? Are you adding more load to the wire? If so, you should also consider the fuse that protects the wiring. It's rating will be lower than that of the wire so it fails first.
Clarion db135 16 pin connector wiring?
I broke open the unit and read the markings on the circuit board to figure this out. (I was tossing the DB135 in favor of a new Kenwood and needed to know how the stereo was wired.
Yellow wire: Back up power (for clock/presets)
Black: Ground
Red: 12V source/ignition
Green wires: Rear Left
Grey wires: Front Right
Purple wires: Right Rear
White wires: Front Left
Orange/White stripe: "ILL" (guessing illumination?)
Blue/White stripe: Remote
all speaker wires use the black striped one of same colorfor "negative"

Meh.
What does 55Hz-20KHz mean in speakers?
It's the range of frequencies the speakers are capable of emitting. 50Hz-20KHz is the 'normal' range of human hearing.
How do you remove the rear speaker covers to change the speakers in a 99 grand prix gt?
I just did the speakers this past weekend in a 2001 Grand Prix and am pretty sure it is the same. Take the lower part of the seat bench out first. There are two plastic loops at the base of the seat that release the seat, while holding the loops with outward pressure, just pull the seat bottom up and out. The seat back is removed by removing the two large nuts that hold the seat belts (If I remember right they were about 17mm). There are two other nuts on either side that use 10mm that need to be removed. Once the four nuts are removed, lift the seat back straight up to unhook the four hooks that hold the seat back in place. After removing seat back the two interior plastic retainers need to be pulled out to get the rear deck/speaker grills removed.
Once you are down to the speakers they can be removed by removing the four screws with a 1/4 inch socket wrench. Carefully lift the speakers out as they are still connected to the wiring harness. Lift the speaker up just enough to disconnect the plastic wire retainers from the speakers. (If there is not enough slack in the wire to do this from up top, they can be disconnected from inside the trunk.) Cut the plastic clips off leaving as much wire as possible. Either strip the wire ends and crimp new ends on or splice the new harness in.
GMs color coding for Positive and Negative is less than intuitive!! Here it is:
Right Rear speaker:
(+) Dark Blue
(-) Light Blue
Left Rear speaker:
(+) Brown
(-) Yellow
Good luck. I put Clarion SRG6921R and am very happy with them. Even though the tweeter protrudes quite a bit there is still plenty of clearance. For the price and if you are not running an amp they can't be beat!
Can you hook up an amp and sub woofer to a stock radio?
Yes, this is very possible. Just disconnect your battery & run the power with an inline fuse from your battery to your amp. Hook up the ground as close to your amp as possible. Now you need to run your remote wire. You can run a wire from your battery with a 10/15amp inline fuse as close to the battery as possible. Then to a toggle switch inside the vehicle & then onto the rem hookup on the amp. Or, you can try splicing into your radio wiring (usually blue & white) & run a lead going to the rem hookup on the amp. Now, after all of that, you will need to splice into you REAR speaker wires- no rca here. Run the spliced off pos & neg wires into you amp & then setup your crossover & blend out as much high frequency as possible. You should be good to go.
