Mice are pretty panicky and difficult to tame. Unfortunately, if the mouse is still biting then you haven't handled it enough or properly. Let it get used to you before handling it.
Can a mouse find food in a maze?
Yes, because it will smell the food and go straight through the hedge. Yes, because it will smell the food and go straight through the hedge.
How do you keep mice away from mating?
you just keep them away from a male (if their a female) keep them away from a female ( if their a male)
Though at first glance, this might refer to a rodent, the term applies to the individuals who, generally armed with a handgun and flashlight, crawled into tunnels dug by the enemy in the Vietnam conflict. These soldiers braved an armed adversary, booby traps, pitfalls and other nasty things to insure the tunnels were clear.
It means it is in pain and it dosent want you to touch it. you should probably take it to the vet.
What do you feed a baby rat whos eyes arent open yet?
I would suggest going to some small pet store and finding baby rat formula. if that is absolutely like not possible than i might use a tiny bit of regular old milk(not skim) in a dropper. or u can make a "feeding funnel" out of a piece of craft foam in the shape of a half moon, folded into an ice cream cone. If at all possible though, you'd be best off just buying rat formula that usually comes witha bottle or dropper :)
Where do you rub on the mouse to make it poop?
I recently rescued a baby mouse and wondered this myself, but with some trial and error I figured it out. I used a Q-tip dipped in warm water and rubbed it along the mouse's lower belly and genital/rectal area. Do this just after it has eaten. If it pees you will see the yellow on the Q-tip. If it poops it will be very small and dark. My mouse started cleaning itself around the time its eyes opened, so once it starts cleaning itself and leaving poops in its cage you don't need to help it any more.
How do you take care of a fuzzy mouse?
I've taken care of them twice before, for fuzzy mice if it's eyes aren't open yet you need to feed it every 3-4 hours feed it kitten or puppy formula, soy milk or what I use is similac sensitive for fussiness&gas for infants....You'll have to warm it up and test it on your pinkie or the inside of your wrist, don't warm it up more than twice though or bacteria can build up in it and kill the mouse or make it really sick....Once it's eyes are open you don't need to feed it at night anymore and you can start weaning it with mouse food wetted with their formula or with oatmeal (unflavored) but still offer it formula every 3 to 4 hours during the day it may or may not eat every time.... You'll need to also keep it warm, it's best if you have a heating lamp and if you have a heating pad to put under the cage but only set it on low and only put it on half the cage (if the baby gets too hot it will move to the half that the heating pad isn't on) Also you will need warm bedding for it, for my mice I put a piece of insulation in there and then put a paper towel over it and lay them on it and then cover them with a paper towel too.... If they get too hot they may come out from under the towel or if they get cold they might go between the insulation and the paper towel (but watch it if it goes in the insulation that it doesn't get its head all in it and suffocate)
When is it the right time to release an orphan wild mouse into the wild?
I would say the right time is when the babies have grown up (around 2-3 weeks when they are in their 'flea' stage) and are starting to eat and drink by themselves. Don't let them get too used to being in captivity or they will assume their food is always there and will not seek it out.
yes they can they might try to swim out (if alive) dont worry they will slip other wise live or dead they can be flushed
How long can you be engaged or baby ready for before going into labor?
You can be effaced and dialated for weeks with your first child.... Thanks for putting a downer on me lol joke thanks for answer much needed
There are two songbirds known to eat mice and they are from the same species. They are the Northern Shrike & Loggerhead Shrike. They eat mostly insects. I have never seen either bird but they have a long beak that has a slight curve on the tip. The loggerhead version has a slightly larger head. Their photographs remind me of the color of mockingbirds. They are not very common and I believe there is an alarm concerning their dwindling numbers. They have a sinister habit of impaling their victims on thorns of plants, as they feast.
Is it bad for baby mice to touch them?
Pinkies (hairless baby mice) should not be handled. Wait until they have hair. Pinkies rely on warmth, and can die if away from the nest which is just the right temp for them.
Externally, rats have skin, fur, tails, feet, whiskers, eyes, noses and ears. Internally they have all the same internal organs as a person does.
just about anywhere they want.... you must be really careful with snails. they can practically take over a system. the worst source is live plants. careful when adding live plants.... snails piggyback along on the roots and before you know it, you have an infestation. there are snails that do not lay eggs and reproduce in a home aquarium and these are the ones you would want to have. if you are using snails for algae control.... try feeding less, running the light less time and controlling your fish population.
I don't know Pinky Trocadero, but Pinky Tuscadero was the name of one of Fonzies's girlfriends on the television show, Happy Days
