1999 Camaro z 28 loss of power fuel pump problem?
Could Be, but I'd replace the fuel filter first. That car probably has an electric fuel pump, and if they go bad, the car won't start at all. But 1000 things can cause a car to loose power.. Try the fuel filter, air filter may be clogged. Check the plugs and plug wires. Add a good (I recommend Lucas) carb or injector cleaner depending on which it has..The Catalytic converter could also starting to clog up.. Hold your hand over the tail pipe (but at least a foot away so you won't get your hand burned) and have somebody rev the engine. If if feels like hardly any exhaust pressure is comin gout, the converter may be clogged.. It will actually have to be checked by a mechanic to be certain.. HTH, Chuck
How do you fix a Code 43-ESC on a 1991 Chevy Camaro?
Code 43 is a knock sensor (ESC system fault). If you have a hard 'check engine' light, try this. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for a couple of minutes, then reconnect. Start vehicle. If the 'check engine' light comes on within 15-20 seconds or so, chances are either the connection to the sensor is poor, or the sensor is bad (open). Shut off car, then disconnect the connector to the knock sensor. Read the voltage to the connector pigtail (key on engine off). It should be 5 volts. Then ohm check the socket on the sensor itself (to ground); it should be 3.9k (depending on knock sensor used). Run a jumper between the pigtail and the sensor, making sure you have good and solid contact to both. Key on, engine off, the voltage at the connector should now be 2.5 volts. LEAVE THE JUMPER IN PLACE. Disconnect the battery neg terminal again, for a couple of minutes (to clear the code). Reconnect neg battery terminal and with the jumper between the connector and the knock sensor still in place, start the car. If no 'check engine' light within 20-30 seconds, let car continue to run for a few minutes. If still no light, it's the connector that is bad. It could be the pigtail, or the sensor connector itself. I repaired mine without changing the sensor.

More than likely it is your switch or a short in the wires, if the motor was going it would not work part of the time. I would say 95% it is the switch. Look for a part for this replacement on line , my guess about $50.

Why is water coming out underneath the front end of your car?
In all likely hood it is the condensation from the Air Conditioning. It is normal. If it is a large amount-and the temperature is normal, it could be a leaking water reservoir tank, wiper fluid tank leaking, or a number of hoses related to the cooling system. If your car is running normally, it is likely just the AC though.

For those of you who do not know but would like to know, It has a 2wire sensor and the 1 wire sending unit(which is green). I confused the sending unit with the 2 wire cts until I looked at it and noticed it wasnt it so that's when I decided to ask here but I found it shortly after. It is kindve behind/below the throttle body to the right side if you are looking at the engine from the front. its the brass/heavy duty looking sensor right by the thermostat(to the right of it). the sensor is $8 at discount auto and $30 from GM. It should be a 19mm wrench size. its easy to take out once you have the coil pack unbolted and moved aside, just mark the coil plugs if you want to take them off so you can rememebr where they go later. also make sure you wrap the new sensor with white teflon tape before putting it in to help seal it and prevent water from leaking.
