How do you replace the front turn signal on a 2002 Jetta?

The headlight assembly contains all the light bulbs on one piece of plastic, but not the turn signal. In order to get to the assembly, you need to remove the battery. Also, there are 2 black plastic covers held on by 4 screws. Remove those screws (philips) and the covers. Behind the headlight assembly you will see a large black piece of plasic with two metal bands over it on each side. These are hard to get off but push them off of the pastic, they snap in place so it can be hard and noisy when they unlatch. This will let you take off the backing of the main headlight. Right beside that backing is a long, rectangular backing that has a plastic snap at the top. You may need a screwdriver or a chisel to pry this latch off, but push down on the plastic latch and pull the backing off. The top of this housing has the turn signal. Pull the entire turn signal housing with the wires just an inch or so. Use a set of pliers to unplug the wiring from the bulb housing. Once that's done, pull the bulb housing out, undo the small metal latches on the side of the bulb, and pull the bulb out. You may need a set of pliers for that. Replace the bulb, the bulb assembly, and plug in the wiring assembly. Once again, pliers may be needed for that. Replace the plastic backing and the main headlight backing. .

Can you wire a 350 tpi fuel injected engine in a 1989 camaro?

Short answer is Yes. If you got the 350 out of another car, it would make it alot easier if out of that car you also take the wiring harness from it. Otherwise you'll shell out big bucks for an aftermarket harness. The engine mount and bolt patterns should match right up though.

What is the car in supernatural worth?

Sentimentally: A LOT! To me at least. =P

Realistically: Probably still a pretty shiny penny. It is an American muscle car classic you know. Depending on the condition of the car though, probably something around $15,000 maybe. It really depends on the seller -which I doubt they'll do, lol. =)

How far with low fuel light on in 5.3L vortec?

not sure if this will help you because i have an 03 6.0L (in a 2500HD crew cab long bed 4WD--probably much heavier than your truck) but when the low fuel lite comes on on my truck the computer says i have a range of roughly 30 miles left. just as an aside, on the rare occasion when i do run it until the lite comes on it takes about 31 gals to top off the 34 gallon tank. i average a mere 10 mpg so with 3 gals left that'd be just about right.

How do you replace a front turn signal on a 2003 Corvette?

First turn the headlamps to the on position. Then turn the switch back one click to the parking light position. Take a 13mm wrench and remove the hood stop. From there you work blind, feel your way to the socket and push the lock tab in and rotate the socket. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket. If it burns out again in a few weeks check if the housing is cracked from heat. If it is then driving in the rain will drip onto the hot light bulb and it will be out again shortly. You can seal up the housing with some RTV smeared over the crack. Good Luck, Dave

ETS LIGHT ON AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTING HARD.. I have a 99 Cavalier and the ETS light is on when the car is cold it's fine. When your driving it and it's hot..slams into gears automatic Pls help.?

not sure about the ets on a cavalier. Have you noticed if it only shifts hard above 45 mph? If so your cavalier has the same tranny as my grand am and GM has a bulletin out about the problem. The first and second shift solenoid in the tranny sticks. So basically what happens is the car is shifting back and fourth between drive and neutral. Not going to cause major problems, just really annoying. Edit: This occurs when temps get low where I live in ND. The engine generally has a stall effect a little bit and then the ETS and Check Engine light come on, the transmission shifts really hard. Turns out the port on the engine that the MAP sensor connected to was getting plugged. I would suggest stopping by a local Auto Zone or other store to have them check your engine computer out to see what it reads. I've read that if something is wrong with the engine, the computer for the engine quits responding to the TCM for the trans and then the trans has to guess what to do.

What does it take to put a carburated 350 into a 95 v6 Camaro?

engine swaps are really quite simple. all you need is the new engine, proper motor mounts, probably a different transmission (the 350 in passenger cars usually is an automatic transmission, i had problems with my 87 camaro sport on this) and if you get really unlucky, you may need to get a different driveline (im not sure if the one in the newer camaro is the proper length, someone else might know). just make sure to get all your electronics connected properly, and you may have a problem with the speedometer unless you get a transmission with an electrical speedometer connection.

Can you interchange 98 Camaro engine parts with 96 Camaro engine parts?

Not electronic. But mechanical yes.

NOTE: a 1996 camaro has the LT1. A 1998 Camaro has the LS1. A lot of things are different.

What is the normal operating temperature of a 1968 Chevrolet Camero Z28 with a 302 cubic inch?

The manufacture requires a 180 degree thermostat. If your fan clutch is operating normally and the radiator has good flow it will probably be around 190 to 205. It may run a little cooler when the car is moving.
