You will have to use the early model intake. The bolt pattern is totaly different.

You would start with the left rear and open furthest bleeder and let gravity flow bleed the line. With engine off, have some ready to push the brake peddle down when you open the bleeder. (furthest on caliper) When you open bleeder have them push down and hold until you close bleeder. Continue until no air comes out, and rotate through the other two bleeders. Never have him let up on peddle until you have bleeder closed. Then continue same process on rt. rear, then move to lt. front, single bleeder and rt. front. I will some times start car and do same process afterwards in the same way. If for some reason you need to change the rear calipers never go by what the books say. Impossible to slide pads in while calipers on, no way to push all four pistons back and put in pads, no room. Put you calipers together first with pads and pin. Then open bleeders and from the top simply push pads back and slide calipers over rotors and bolt on.

Yes, the mounting position is the same, but the actual mounts are different. Bolt the mounts from your 1975 corvette to your 1996 LT1 engine and it should go right in. The transmission should also bolt right up to your 1996 LT1 engine.

Screwed in the driver side cyinder head just behind the Alternator. this is referred to as the temperature sensor. Hope this helps.

The cost of an LS1 engine varies depending on the frame it is for and the place of purchase. As a rough guide a used engine can go from around $600 up to $4000 new.

Squeeze the horn button at the top and bottom with your fingers and thumbs and pull. It takes some strength. Be careful when it releases as there is a wire and connector attached which can be damaged if you pull it too far. The horn buttom is held in place by four steel spring type clips located at 11am, 1pm, 5pm and 8pm. Good luck.

I believe that the both the 96 vette and caprice use the LT1 (I think 96 was the last year for the LT1). In that case, yes.

It's a very tough job. It looks easyier than it is. Their some 1,000 staples that you have to contend with. It is an art... leave it to a professional..or it will look like you did it yourself.

You will need to remove your steering wheel and remove all internals. There is a 10mm bolt that holds the ignition in place. When you remove that it will slide right out.

Look for the tension pulley. there is a square hole in the end. Stick a 1/2 inch drive ratchet with a short 1/2 inch extension end into it and turn it to releave the pressure off of the pulley.

on my 1999 Ford Contour the oriface tube was located under the hood on the firewall on the high pressure line, below the larger low pressure line, need to buy disconnect tool fuel/ac line tools, remove and then along the line is a connection with two nuts 22mm and 19mm unscrew and remove hose

Answer I just bought a 1987 Corvette Coupe and had the the same problems with the cluster. Only half of the panel was lit up, the Speedometer side but the gauges worked they were just dark. I found a website called Mr. Whizard Technical Services out of Winnipeg Mantoba that was great to work with. On the website there are instructions on how to remove the instrument cluster yourself and instructions on how to send it to them. They sent a UPS pickup label prepaid and had it repaired and sent back to me within a week. They fixed the cluster so it looks and works like new again with all the color displays and lights working and they did for only $200.00 a lot less than anywhere else I found. They did what they promised and on time. I recommend them to anybody with an instrument cluster of any make of auto. I website is; www.mrwhizard.com. Its under the passenger side dash behind the breadbox on the left-hand side, found it today, had to lie on my back on the seat and use a flashlight to see .its way up there clipped on a piece of metal ..........what a pain

Remove the heater core water supply hoses from your 1979 Chevy Corvette. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.

This Engine Has Aluminum Heads. They Should Have Been Tested For Cracks And Surfaced To Be Sure Of No Leaks Or Warpage. If The Engine Ran Hot & Blew Gaskets, You Could Have Craked Heads, Or More Simple A Thermostat Not Opening, Not Enough Coolant Flowing ( Radiator Stopping Up ) Weak Water Pump, Not Likely Though, It Would Leak. Run It Into A Radiator Shop. They Can Pressure Test It, To See If You Have A Leak( Internal Or Otherwise ) Also Your Fan Clutch May Be Bad===The Fan Is Bolted To It Then It Is Bolted To The Water Pump. It Works Like This, When The Engine Is Cold It Lets The Fan Not Run Very Fast So The Engine Will Get To Operating Temp. Faster Then When Engine Get Hotter It Will Not Engage And Run The Fan Faster Keeping The Engine Cooler. Well Heck. Radiator Shop Is Best Bet.

It should be on the right side cylinder head ( passenger side) between and just above #6 and #8 spark plugs. This is where it is on my '95 Corvette.
