Where is the fuel pump located in a 1973 Chevy Nova?

It's located on the passenger side of the engine just below the exhaust manifold towards the front of the engine, 2 bolts hold it on and you will see a gas line going into it and a gas line coming out of it that will lead to the carbureator.

What is the horsepower of a 454 v8 in a 1968 Chevy Nova?

454 big block chevies were not released for production until the 1970 model year . So the one in question is not original equipment and did not come in the car . If you take the casting numbers off the block , you (or someone else if you post them) can find out what that 454 came out of originally . That being said there's a pretty good chance the engine may have been modified from it's stock form.....does it have headers & aftermarket induction like holley , edelbrock , and or weiand ? Who knows what's been done internally . As you can see it's hard to guess the H.P. of this particular engine . Sorry .

Where is the hood release on a 1976 Chevy Nova hatchback?

Answer: It took me a while to find it too. Its under the bumper. but as soon as you release that latch you have to lift the hood and release the second latch in the usual place under the hood.

You recently installed a 600cfm edelbrock carb on your 75 Nova you were wondering where do you hookup the distributor to the carb?

There should be two small and one large vacuum connection points on the front of the carb, hook it to one of the small ones, that will be for your vacuum advance. the big one is for crankcase ventilation. one of the smaller ports is manifold vacuum, the other is timed vacuum. they are not the same, but you will use one of these, usually the "timed" port.

But why would you want to? That's stupid. Nova is meant for the strip. Not show!
