OBD2 plug is located Below steering column and to the right, it is behind the knee bolster. Plug is facing vertical,so you may have to lie on floor mat and look up.

Hi, According to their web site the only have mounting instruction sheets for back as far as '97. NO, it doesn't fold down. You can pop out the bottom bench and unscrew the seat belt bolts and you should be able to take the seat off.

i changed a license bulb on my 2000 vitara (should be same as a tracker) grasp the clear plastic lens cover and gently wiggle it back and forth, like pulling a tooth. mine came off intact. after i changed the bulb, i pressed the the lens cover back on. good luck.

todays date is Sunday august 3rd 2008 i have a 2002 z series tracker and the battery is now bad i am a mechanic and have looked all Sunday morning and have had no sucess with looking on line for a bci group you know 75 or 35 or 24f series but nou i feel a little stipid i will go outside and look at my original series i will be right back a delphi 24r hope yours is the same good luck

look at your belt and pulleys, you will see a wheel below the power steering pump, it is the tensioner, use a 14 mm socket, put it on the bolt head as if you were going to tighten the bolt, that releases the tension on the belt so you can remove it. Make sure you pay attention to how it goes, I took pics with my phone just in case but did'nt need it, it's pretty easy.

I can get up to 38 MPG on my 2000 tracker which has the 2.0L 4 cyl. and 5 sp manual tranny. If I'm towing, or idling in winter to warm it up however this decreases. On average you should be able to get 30 MPG, as that 's about what I get. If you are getting less, try changing the air filter, and making sure tires are properly inflated, as these are two of the biggest MPG killers.
