The word for "chinchilla" in Spanish is spelled the same as in English. It is pronounced, "Cheen-CHEE-yah." Sites such as learn-spanish.co.il provide audio pronunciations of many common Spanish words.
I wouldn't recommend it. Unless a vet advised you to do so, I wouldn't do it. Guinea pigs should not chew on things other than their pellets and hay that aren't biotic (wood is okay)
How big does a mouse cage need to be?
Mice are happiest with ample room to move around and enough additional room for interesting things to climb in, on, up, and around. For a single mouse, the smallest I feel comfortable going is 15" x 12" x 12" (and that is a partial two story). The more rooms and stories they have, the happier and more active they are.

Is the mudroom the same as a utility room?
NO, they aren't the same. A mud room can be used as a laundry room, as can a utility room, however, "mud room"implies rear vestibule---the place where one discards ski boots, winter boots, heavy coats, garden tools etc....as opposed to a "utility room" in which one's boiler, electrial panel box, and heavy equipment such as lawn-mowers are kept. Although one can do laundry in either, you can see that a mud room functions as more of an interior room through which, if push came to shove, one would not be embarrassed to have a guest pass through, whereas a utility room would stickly be the kind of space or room for a service man or housekeeper to go to and do work in. Why do chinchillas need to take dust baths instead of normal water baths?
Based on my research, they take dust baths because it is healthy for them. I'm not so much help, sorry. :)
You are right; you aren't much help.
Here is another opinion.
First, chinchillas are native to dry areas where there is not much water.
Second, the dust baths get rid of excess oils and moisture on the fur which would not happen in a water bath.
In conclusion here is the ovarall reason:

What should I know before buying a keyboard instrument?
Can it accept a sound module, that is, can it be connected to a device that contains other sounds (or presets)? Is it MIDI compatible? Does it have weighted keys? Are the keys velocity sensitive.
A good idea these days is to buy a controller. This is just a full size, weighted keys, keyboard. It has no sounds built in. You would connect this to a sound module, or your computer with compatible software. This way, it will never be 'outdated'. Whatever new program or sound that comes along, you can INTERFACE with it directly.

How many species are there for chinchillas?
Well, while only one species of this extraordinarily large group of semi-aquatic carnivorous herbivores is commonly kept as a pet (Chinchilla Apetiswhatiamus), there are at current 42 1/2 other speices in this genus as well, ranging in size from the two-ounce tree mangaboonacka (Chinchilla Foodforalli) from Madagascar up to the four-hundred pound Hagglesnorge (Chinchilla Asskickus) of East Asia and Poland. There is also the Needle-tailed-Queensland-Ragglyopuck Hunting Chinchilla (Chinchilla Raggley), that lives in small burrows near the sea shores of South Africa and that feeds upon herbs and frogs, and in the Arctic circle a small white species without a common name (Chinchilla Snowythingus) dwells inside mounds of ice and eats seals. The only member dangerous to humans is the Flingy Dancing fish Chinchilla (Chinchilla Gruss Geo-Miamar) from Siam. It sometimes steals small children to eat if it's usual diet of crabs, berries, and mushrooms is depleted by overuse of the land by selfish farming tribes. Some, such as the Flat-headed chinchilla (Chinchilla Bucklestampus) of South America, are useful to humans for the ivory that grows in their horns.
