I am assuming you are talking about the inner tie rod bushings that bolt into the rack and pinion. If so, remove the air cleaner completly, remove the plenum, and anything else that obstructs access to the rack and pinion. There are two bolts that go through the old rubber bushings. Thes bolts screw into two blind holes in the rack. Be careful not to turn the stering wheel while the bolts are out. Also, there is a sleeve that has two holes in it. The large bolts are very difficult to rethread if any of this is moved. When reinstalling the bolts care must be taken not to cross thread the bolts. Take you time. There are washers that are used and a locking tab. Replace all parts in order. Don't forget to bend the locking tabs or the bolts will vibrate out.

As per www.totalrecallinfo.com there are 3 recalls on this item, but not the clock spring.

There are three ways I know of: 1. Disconnect the battery for a couple of hours, and hope it goes out and doesn't come back on. 2. Take it to a dealership or service shop and pay way more than you should. 3. Take it to a parts store. Some stores will clear it for free

I am not too familiar with the 1996 Concorde, but most of the newer vehicles turn on the interior lighting when the ignition is turned off. This is to allow you to see inside the car before exiting without having to turn any lights on. They should turn off after about 40-50 seconds, or when the doors are locked and the alarm is activated.

Yes, the doors and windshield interchange as follows: 1984-1991 windshield interchangeable. 1984-1987 2 door LWB doors interchangeable 1984-1987 4 door doors interchangeable 1988-1991 4 door doors interchangeable 1989 SWB 2-door doors interchangeable with 1988-1991 4-door front doors and rear barn doors. note: pre-1988 4-door doors will fit 1988+ mostly, but the lock mechanism has a different retaining hole. but the newer locks can be re-keyed to match the older keys, and vice versa. you just can't put the whole lock from one into the other. There were also 5 distinct hinge redesigns which make door fitment slightly different with different years - for example the hinges from a 1986 would swing the doors too wide on a 1991 and allow little kinks from the interfering sheet metal.

you need to take out the bumper cover to either change the headlights or light bulbs

it should not take you more than 20 minutes you will notice there are few plastic clips

from the top that hold the bumper cover when you open the hood and than there are

plastic clips that you take out on both sides of the bumper cover by the wheels you

will notice them when you face the wheel of the car once you pull them out there will be one nut that needs to be unscrewed deep inside the cover straight ahead it is metal so you can't miss it and a plastic clip in the middle that you pull down from the bottom just half way down once you've done both sides the bumper cover slides out

to make it easier turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and than the other side as you will remove the hole bumper cover that will give you space to stick your

hand inside as you remove the nut and clip from inside the cover I also got a 2002 Chrysler Concorde and I recently did this job for the same reason.

Transmission pump possibly going bad. Take it to a pro.

My 1994 Concorde does the same thing but i replaced the tranny fluid and added some transmission treatment and it worked much better. Also to ensure that the fluid temperature is at a mininum I added a tranny cooler on to it which is about $50 at the local u-haul. Now the tranny works fine.

hell yeah you may needa lift kit prolly just knuckles though but they will def fit ive seen ella chryslers sittin gangsta on 22"s

yeah the will fit without a lift kit I know I have 22 inch MOB Ange rims on my Chrysler lhs.......you just need to put adapters on them so the strut won't sit on the tire. You also may have to get small series tires.....hope this helps

you need 255/30/22 tires and spring lifts you can get from autozone for 30 bucks they set in the spring and raise the car height for no rub on the wells and no you don't need knuckles or spacers

The check engine light is generally to alert you to some condition that is causing the emission control system to malfunction. This could be as simple as a gas cap that is not sealed properly to a fuel injection problem, i.e. to rich .

If the car runs normally with no noise, then try removing & replacing the gas cap correctly. The light should go out in a few minutes. If it doesn't and the engine runs normally, take the car to a service shop when it is convenient. Pepboys, Kragen and Autozone will check it for free.

If the engine runs rough, then slow down & drive carefully to avoid stressing the engine (i.e. no hard acceleration) and get it to a service shop as soon as possible - do not keep driving it, permanent expensive engine damage may result.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THE BATTERY MAY HAVE A DEAD CELL AND CANNOT HOLD A CHARGE? IS THE ALTERNATOR INFACT PUTTING OUT ENOUGH VOLTAGE TO PROVIDE THE BATTERY WITH A CHARGE, APPROX. 13 TO 14 VOLTS.
