Thanks for the attempt to help, but Acer customer support is totally useless. 2 emails went unanswered and a phone call was a waste of time. The rep, who barely spoke English but refused to transfer me to someone else, said, after a 15 minute ordeal, that I have to find someone locally because they don't have "ruver fees". BTW, I spelled "rubber feet" very slowly for her 4 times because she didn't know what I was saying.

Another story:

I managed to speak with someone at Acer tech support which fully understood what I was talking about, but they informed me that they have no part number for the rubber feet, therefore they are unable to place an order to have them sent to me. BUT, if I were to send my AAO in for repairs, they could stick new feet on it.

SOLUTION:

Go to ebay. I see three vendors in Hong Kong selling generic Acer Aspire One rubber feet for less than 5 euro including postage to Europe/US.

Very complicated since you cant give a laptop a new graphics card but possibly some new RAM. Look/ask a person at a local computer store and say where are the gaming laptops. Usually they cost like $1,000 but its for everything already put in there. The best website to do this from is compusa.com some laptops and even spare parts!

(optional idea) Heres my gaming story i thought about a gaming laptop it turns out they cost more than a desktop gaming so try to get some good stock computer. Mine was a stock HP Pavillion with 3 slots for graphics cards so that means future cards could work, any Nividia Card then do a Triple SLI. So i found a super saleat compusa.com i got a 8600GT for $80 compared to the $100-$160 i saw. Right there you save! Then i got some Kingston 16 GB RAM 2 cards 8 GB RAM each for $50 compared to the $80-$100 i saw. I needed RAM for my Supreme Commdander Forged Alliance (aka SupComFA) to run super battles of 1000+ units. Otherwise get RAM if you think you need to or you get a error message saying more RAM needed. No im not a geek i studied this for a while since it was the summer and i wanted to make my gaming computer better.

Additionally you will probably need to get a cooling pad for a laptop when you use it for gaming because they do get very hot, much more so than desktops. These are very cheap ($15) and just plug into the usb port of a laptop.

Well without knowing how many sticks of ram or how many case fans you'd have, my answer could differ slightly but 500w would be adequate, full load would likely only use up to 465w.

Monitor would be powered from a separate plug so that doesn't come into it :)

Get a good brand psu though like antic or ocz for example, cheaper brands can be a bit unstable.

That varies greatly. If someone gives you one, then it cost nothing but the electricity, any upgrades and repairs, and the software. You might find a computer in a thrift store for $50 or less, while you may be able to find a new one somewhere anywhere from $200 on up. To have a top of the line mainstream computer would be about $1000 to $1500, while the best possible gamer system will run much more. So the question is how much computer do you want?
