Business owners tend to make far more than those employees who simply work for them. The nice thing about starting your own business is that anyone can do it, regardless of their education. It would help you to major in business, of course, but there are no qualifications when you are the boss. You just have to research, network, and set everything up so that you can make a profit.

Which path you choose depends on your personality. If you are good with people, starting a business may be the way to go. If you are studious, you could start working your way toward a highly-skilled position.
