It's on the gearbox, you need to get under the car to access it. It has a 3pin plug.

The speedometer fuse can be found in the fuse box. The speedometer fuse will be in the second column, fourth from the top.

General 1. Check for markings BEFORE you start removing the belt. Disassembly 2. Disconnect the battery 3. Remove the air filter housing 4. Remove the right front wheel 5. Check the markings 16. Fit the transmission belt 17. Rotate the water pump to tense the belt (tool: J-42492) 18. Fasten the water pump 19. Fit the �blocking tool� (fig. 1. see bottom for instructions) 20. Turn the engine 2 turns by hand 21. Put the markings inline 22. Remove the blocking tool 23. Turn the water pump CCW to set the markings on the fastener (fig. 2. see bottom for instructions) 24. Fasten the water pump 25. Turn the engine 2 turns by hand 26. Check the markings again 27. you need to check the oil opening and caps to re-tight them again

I have a daewoo matiz that has low power when the engine light comes on I have changed the spark plugs/leads/distributer cap/distributer/and coil checked the timing changed the fuel filter air filter and it still looses power when the engine light comes on.

You have spent a lot of money and you still have the problem. Do you not think it might be time to take it to an expert and have it repaired correctly. You would've been money ahead right at this moment.

prise lamp cover out by placing a small flat screwdriver in small recess of lense located near the light switch. replace bulb locate the two lense tabs into light unit and press lense back into place. easy job as replaced mine recently

Instructions as follow: 1. remove right headlight. 2. remove battery and battery tray. 3. remove tube between air filter and throttle body. 4. reach behind the gear linkages and feel the bolts holding the starter motor. 5. there are what seems like 3 bolts on a L shape, the center one holds the plate for the gear linkages, do not undo, it's a pain in the neck to put back. 6. undo the two bolts holding the starter motor. 7. from under the car undo the one nut holding the power feed from the battery and the nut holding the cable from the key. 8. lift the back of the starter motor up clearing the oil pressure sender and so the front of the starter motor points down. 9. support the front of the starter motor and ease it down and out.

In owner's manual Specification and Service Data pages contain section giving details of engine oil. The viscosity has to be selected according to the ambient temperature. SAE 15W40 is the recommended oil for up to 40 degrees C.

That would most likely be the intake manifold.

I expect you can get a replacement manifold at any car part replacement shop. If not got to a Chevrolet dealer.

It is not good if a persons newly changed brake pads are grinding. To stop this, a person needs to change the brake caliper pressure.

The recommended tyre pressures for a 1999 T reg. 0.8 SE Daewoo Matiz, according to the plate by the drivers (R/Hnd drive) door jamb is; 30 psi. (2.1 bar) front and 30 psi. If you take out the wrong fuse on the matiz it activates the air-bag warning light and you need to take it to a dealer to get it reset.

Could be a problem with the heater matrix. It was with ours in this situation.

Take off the surrounding plastic covers (top and bottom) to expose the metal assembly.
there is a small hole in from the key hole (facing you if you were sitting in the seat), poke something in that hole, this releases the barrel but you will need to have the key in and turned to 'B' from memory. Hope this helps

Underneath the car remove the large sump guard held in to the front and rear members by 4x bolt. At the bottom of the gearbox /finial drive is a x headed plug. remove it and the oil will drain. No washer to change as there isn't one

You have to take it to a Key reprogrammer, or your local daewoo who will reprogramme it for you.

The timing belt should be changed after 100.000km. (60,000 miles)
