How do you get the radio out of a Daewoo Matiz to change it?
Had the same problem myself, finally solved by removing a small screw from each side of the radio. The problem is these are located behind the trim but still very close to the front of the radio, I had to lie on my back with my head in each footwell in turn and reaching up the side of the radio into the dash removed them with a crancked screwdriver and lots of swearing! .
Why struggle when all you have to do is take out 5 crossheaded screws out 4 in speedo trim 2 top 2 bottom and 1 in deep recess in cubby hole past heater switches
then pull carefully by hand the plastic facia as far as you can
reaching in pull off security wire fixing and heater wire connection block
this will give you room to get to the fixing screws on both sides of radio
then you can pull out and guide it out to disconnect radio
i did this recently to my 02 plate matiz and it worked for me
replace wires in holders gently with palm of hand locate facia into position and replace screws no swearing just a little gentle brute force needed

from the front of the car behind nearside drive shaft about halfway up gearbox a 24mm nut can be found undo this and oil should be filled till runs out oil grade should 80/90 grade but i do not put that in i find that a lesser grade helps gear changes

The 800cc engines are NOT non interference engines. I recently bought a matiz with a snapped cambelt. After reading online that it was a safe engine I simply reset the timing and fitted a new cambelt. The car seemed to run fine so I thought I was in the clear. 12 miles later one of the valves snapped and killed the engine, lots! I stripped the engine down after I'd removed it from the car and found that 5 out of 6 valves were bent.

Most have a 15 gallon capacity, but 20 gallon is optional. In reality, they all have a 20 gallon tank but the 15 gallon has a longer vent hose into the tank that only allows 15 gallons to be put in. But removing & clipping this longer vent hose, 20 gallons can fit into the tank, but the sender will also need to be changed to have an accurate reading. The sender is usually not available separately but the fuel pump & sender are one unit. As for milage, Wrangers are not noted for getting good milage- like pushing a brick through the air. Most get 13-15 and if lucky 16 on the road. Mine has a modified air intake & exhaust and gets 16-17 around town & I got almost 19 pulling a small fishing boat & buzzing along at 65-70. So for a Jeep with the gearing & wind resistance, that is great! Mine is also a 91 and has the OBD1 computer system. The OBD II system might not get as good, but I do not know for sure. I do know I have not found anyone lese that owns a Wrangle with a 4.0L 6 cyl that gets this good. One thing to note- many people think the 4cyl should get better milage. It gets about the same as the 6 cyl because it runs the same weight & wind resistance & gears but has to work harder. So get the 6 and a manual unless you hate stick shift. My personal want is an Unlimited Rubicon with a 6 spd manual. Then modify the intake & exhaust to breath better and some nice tires!

Well, there are a bunch of problems. If the car vibrates that means that you should check the oil. Than, if the check indicator is on, I've heard from the mecanics that the board computer has a problem. So, you have to go to the service immediately. If heard and read a lot of problems with this Check indicator. Good luck!
Daewoo matiz dashboard lights?
This answer is in relation to a Matiz on a 51 plate. The surround is removed by unscrewing 4 screws around where the speedo display is situated, and another screw at the back of the compartment below the radio. after this the surround pulls off. To refit, the surround just pushes back on and replace the screws.

There are 3 10mm screw's when looking at the headlight square on: one on top at 12oclock, 4oclock and 8oclock the screw's at 4oclock and 8oclk are under the plastic cover under the light which is held on with a Philips screw.

Remove the plastic cover on the outside of the mirror with a knife.
Undo the 2 Phillips screws that have been exposed.
Remove the plastic round cover and rubber cover from the manual adjuster on the inside of the car.
Remove the 2 7mm nuts, now exposed, from the maual adjuster.
Pull the mirror off the car from the outside of the door.

- Undo both Plus and Negitive nuts (warning watch spanner does not connect plus and negitive).
- Lift battrey out and replace .
- Connect back up and secure in place .
