Try checking the catalytic converter. If you remove the emissions sensor from the exaust manifold you can chack if it starts ok, although noisy. If it goes ok then the catalytic converter could be blocked causing back pressure.

Most probably its the starter coil. That's evident if on turning the ignition key, there is a clicking sound. It may be also bad alternator with a worn out battery

No fuel getting to engine or spark plugs not firing for some reason. Sorry, you have to find out which.

Well short answer is NO and long answer is HELL NO. If it is loosing water it must be leaking from somewhere. Have you checked the hoses for holes this is usually where a leak happens ( if a hose has a hole it cant hold high pressure ). alliteratively try the head gasket ( yes i said head because it is the leader of all gaskets ) Although you might want to try replacing the radiator cap or the welsh plugs( yes i said welsh and no they arent british ay govenor). Or just put the radiator cap back on you f@$%*ng nube.

I would start with a voltage drop test on both be positive and negative side of the battery. I once had a Corvette in the shop that three other shops couldn't fix by replacing the alternator with a high output alternator. The car ran fine all day long with the air conditioning on, but when driving after dark with the air conditioning on the battery would inevitably go dead. This was a late 60s early 70s Corvette stingray with the battery mounted behind the driver's seat. The negative cable ran through a rubber grommet in the floor of the fiberglass body and bolted to the frame of the Corvette. By doing a voltage drop test on the negative side of the battery cable from the battery to the bolt on the frame I had about 3.5-4 volts of voltage drop if I remember correctly. The connections on both ends of the cable were clean, but where the cable went through the rubber grommet, the cable looked like it was pregnant. I removed the negative battery cable and inspected the bulging cable insulation and could see absolutely no nicks or wear marks on the cable insulation at all, yet when I cut the cable open in that area it was full of green corrosion. I replaced the negative battery cable (less than a $5 repair) and the customer never had any more problems from that point on, and we dealt with him for several years after that.

There are 3 bolts under the car to take off. It's hard because the cv axel is in the way, but you can pull it out from the base, rent a breaker bar and take off the cv axel makeing sure to get it from the base. If you do not pull it out from the base make sure you have some cv axel greese because it will poor out. after the screws are off pull like hell, try not to bend the shim in the middle and replace making sure the shim is insterted through the bolt. There are more indepth guides available, this is just a quick overview of how I did it.

jack up the drivers side of the car just behind the front wheel take off wheel unbolt the iner mud flap 4 screws one underneath this will expose the rollers that the belt goes round refure to the manual as to whitch way the belt goes ronnd a ring spaner on the tensioner and prise back this will give you anough slack to get the belt on make sure you have the right grooved belt and it is sat on correctlly once in place realace the tensioner gard back on and wheel 30 miniute job good look neil

i Have a nubira II premium M.2000 1.5Ltr and the Map Sensor is located just under the Wind screen wipers inside the engine compartment, to the left of the Coil

remove the back seat there is a access hole that goes straight to the pump. i wish i would,ve known this befor i did it the hard way! good luck. fyi keep your fuel level above quarter tank the pumps are made junky they bad aboutg suckin trash.

The fuel pump on a 2000 nubira is under the back seat on the passenger side.

Temperature can cause damage to the ignition coil. Temperature which is above 150 degrees Celsius can cause a great damage to it.

You have exhausted fuel from tank? Try to change fuel filter if fitted. Possible contaminant was in tank (water, solids) Try a cup of metholated spirit in tank water will be displaced or fuel filter for solids.

You will see that your Nubira has TWO dipsticks. The shorter one is for the engine oil level & the longer one is for your transmission. It can usually be found nearest to the transmission itself. The engine oil dipstick is at the front part of the engine whereas the transmission dipstick will be either at the side or further back, right near the transmission itself.

There are two sensors on the nubria, one under the engine cover, the other under the passenger side connected to the exhast. You can see the first one sticking out in front of your engine under the cover and the second one under the car, there easy to find. You'll need a special O2 sensor socket to take them out, it has a gap down the side so you don't mess up the wires. Any Autostore will have them for purcase or loan (if you put down some money you can return it).

If you google Daewoo Owner club website and go to the Lanos forum. There is a down loadable PDF for a Lanos in the permant post at the top of the page. The manual covers the 1.3 & 1.5 SOHC and 1.6L DOHC. It has all necessary info.

Actually there are 2 different transmission fluids Dexron II and Dexron III. If your transmission is electronically controlled, use dexron III (your owners manual will tell you all this!), if it is manually controlled, use dexron II.

How to determine if your transmission is electronically controlled!

If you can't find a transmission dipstick any where in the Nubira engine chamber, then it'll be electronically controlled. From various sources I have found that, to check the fluid level in this case, you need to remove the speedo cable.

How do you flush the transmission fuel from a 2000 Daewoo Nubira

If it is the same as the 2000 Daewoo Lanos, it will be located inside the car on the passenger side. You will have to remove most of the lower dash (black plastic) to find it, there are about 30 (7 mm) screws that need to get removed and the fan will have to come out to access the expansion valve block. The expansion valve itself is held in place with (2) 8mm bolts.

There are four screws around where the speedo display is, and another screw inside the compartment below the radio. Having removed these, the dashboard pulls off. Fairly easy.
