It really depends on the overall condition of the truck. How straight the body is, how much rust, how it runs and drives. I purchased a 67 short/wide recently that was all original including the paint. I bought it from the original owner so it has great history, near perfect body and runs awesome. I paid $4k for the truck which I think was a steal. I see them advertised for as much as $6500 in decent shape and fully restored for over $10k.

The manual transmission are as follows: A230/250/390/833 or overdrive 4 speed take Dexron II or Dexron III. NP2500 takes SAE 10W-30 engine oil. The NP435 takes SAE 90 GL5 gear lube, as does the NP445. The NP 4500 takes 75w-90 Castrol Syntorq synthetic gear lube or equivalent.

What oil pressure should a slant 6 have?
With the help of my brother, I rebuilt a Slant 6 in a 1983 Dodge D150 with an Overdrive4 transmission. We hooked up an oil pressure gauge to the external oil pump and I saw over 50PSI at idle. This engine is at it's last build as it's bored over .060 and the cylinder head milled at .090 to raise its performance, all the while keeping reliability. I think now the engine's displacement is 232 from the original 225. Use a portable pressure gauge with the right fittings to do this test if you don't have a gauge on the dash.

the mixture may be too lean or too rich, depending on how its dying out. if you have to hold the pedal down after it dies out to get it started, its too rich. it may be electrical for the fuel injectors, or the ecu may be faulty, talk to me about it at mazurlaser@aol.com, i can try to help you.

obd 2 didnt come out until 1996. you need to find a factory manual on how to flash the codes on your dash bored. some dodge vehicles you can make the check engine light flash say like it flashes once then a pause then two more flashes that would be a code 12. this is done by doing a cycle of on and off with the keys in the ignition without starting car. but im not sure how many times you cycle the key on-off-on-off-on within 4 secounds the check engine light will then flash each code if there is more than one it will flash 55 when done 5 flashes one secound pause 5 flashes 55, 4 secound pauses between each code
