How do you fix the sliding door of a 1991 Aerostar stuck shut?

Side door stuck tooMine is stuck shut too on a '94. I've even tried a crowbar all the way around the door and have kicked it from the inside while somone pulls on the handle. The front of the door seems to be latched. I can pull the back part out about a half inch with the crowbar.

I wouldn't recommend using a crowbar because it does put dents on the body, but I am desperate.

New HeadlineYou have to remove the inside door panels. follow the door mechanism from the front to the back (You won't be able to see it at the back) What I did was to cut a small hole (1-2 inches) near the back of the door to be able to see the rod. I found that were the rod connects to an "L" shaped part the "L" was bent outwards (toward the outside of the door). By bending it back towards the inside of the door I was able to get the door open.

What does the crank sensor do on Dodge Caravan?

The net is that the sensor amounts to a redundancy, allowing the ECM to determine appropriate timing more quickly than without it.

It's part of a module called DRL. This is on the junction box under dash, approximately above the drivers left shin. Very awkward to get at When you find this box, you will see a row of 12 fuses, then above that a row of 4 small relays, then a row of 4 slightly bigger relays, then two other blocks. The DRL Module is the large block on the right side side.

How do you remove the PCV valve from a 3.8L engine in a 2006 dodge grand caravan?

The PCV valve on these engines has a metal body with a rubber seal

around it. This seal actually locks the valve into a raised plastic fitting

on the rear valve cover. Problem with removing is due to the rubber

seal hardening. I removed the wiper module to gain access but do

not recommend this unless you have some mechanical ability. It is

necessary, if rubber seal has hardened, to grasp the tip of the valve

with vise grips or other locking pliers and then use a large screw

driver to pry up on the vise grips. Put something solid on top of

the intake plenum to use as a fulcrum. The rubber seal will probably

break in half so be sure to remove the broken part from the

raised plastic fitting before installing the new valve. The PCV hose

will also be hardened but can be removed by removing the plenum

end first and then twisting/lifting on the end attached to the

valve cover.
